Bellarke [Under Construction]

Chapter 8

Bellamy's P.O.V

I open my eyes but am greeted with the temporary blindness caused by the sun. Huh. I guess i slept outside my tent last night to look at the stars. I look around and see everyone's already up and about. I spot octavia coming to me. "Hey, Bell." She says with a smile which i can see right through. She's worried about something. "You're finally up. It's about time anyways." She hands me a glass of water which i finish in a gulp.

"Octavia, what's up?" I give her a worried yet questioning look.

"Nothing!" She says her smile fading ever so slightly.

I give her a disbelieving look.

She slumps her shoulders.

"It's just clarke. She's been acting really weird lately. Lashing out at everyone. Even her patients!" She sighs "I'm really worried about her, maybe you could calm her down a bit?"

I looked away so she couldn't see my expression. Knowing O, she would sense me lying from a mile away. "I don't know, O. There's a lot of work to be done and we have to hunt an-"

"You're really still avoiding her? That's pathetic. Will you at least tell me what happened?"

"You really wanna know what happened? She slept with finn! " i started to get all heated up. I was basically yelling.

I expected her to walk out. But she stayed. "Clarke wouldn't do that. She hates the guy. How do you know anyway. " she demanded.

" I saw him walk out of her tent at three in the morning." I sighed.

"And you just naturally assumed they were sleeping together?" She scoffs. "That's great bellamy. Just great." She walks out but then walks in when she remembers to say. "Ask her bellamy. It's the only way you'll know the truth. "

I decided that because i couldnt face clarke, I'd ask spacewalker. That ought to be easier. I looked around until i found him. I get straight to the point "Did you sleep with clarke?" I say with an accusing tone. He looks a bit taken aback. "What?"

I roll my eyes "Did you or did you not sleep with my girlfriend two nights ago?" I say slowly but my voice full of frustration.

A smirk plasters on his face. "Matter of fact, i did."

And that is when i snap. I continously throw punches at him untill he's bleeding and there is a group around us.

"Bellamy, stop! You're killing him!" I recognize the voice as Clarke's.

"What are you gonna do, huh?!" I say without looking at her. She touches my shoulder which sends shivers down my spine. She tugs me toward the dropship. I am paralysed by her touch so i oblige. When we reach inside she leans against the wall and looks at the roof. "What was that about, Bellamy?" She says more calmly then i expected.

"You wanna know what that was about? That was about spacewalker confirming that you cheated on me with him!" She folds her arms and winces at my loud shouting. But I'm too angry to care. But all of a sudden her face changes from hurt to confusion. "Bell, i never slept with finn." She says calmly but firmly. I stand there dumbfounded until she walks out of the dropship, that's when my knees buckle and i fall to the floor with my back against a wall. I hold my head in my hands. Waiting for the world to cut it's crap.

Clarkes P.O.V

I storm out to go find finn. That imbecile, i can't believe he would lie to bellamy about something like that. I find finn and slap him on his already bruised face "Ow! what the hell!" he shouts.

"Why would you lie to bellamy about us?"

"Oh, but i didn't ,princess."

"First of all, do not call me that. Second, Yes you did."

"No, I just told him a different date. It DID happen. Whether you like it or not. "

"that was before me and Bellamy started going out."

"Whatever princess." He rolled his eyes and walked off. I wonder what happened to him, he used to be a nice guy. Now, he's a douche.

I realize the eyes on me as i make my way to the dropship. I guess i got a bit loud. Understatement. I got very loud, but then again, so did he. I enter through the flap and see Bellamy asleep on the wall of the dropship. He's too heavy for me to carry to his tent, so I wake him up. "Bell, hey.Bell, wake up!" i shake him awake. "You need to get back to your tent."

"I'm not going anywhere until you tell me the truth."

I'm taken aback by his straightforwardness. But i continue knowing that this will probably be the last time he listens to me. I sit next to him.

"He didn't come in my tent to sleep with me. He came into my tent because i had dropped a piece of wood on my foot. He heard me yelp. And he just came to check on me. I love you Bellamy. I would never cheat on you. Thats not me." I take his hand in mine. I wait for him to reply. After a few minutes he says "You must hate me."

"I don't. I don't hate you. I could never hate you, Bell."

He puts his arm around my shoulder. "I'm sorry. I acted like an ass to you. You definitely didn't deserve that. I love you."

"I love you more."

I have to crane my neck to kiss him and he moves lower and his lips lock with mine. I've been waiting so long for this. I pull back for a breath when he whispers "impossible." And pulls me back into a deep kiss.
