Bellarke [Under Construction]

Chapter 5

Previously on "bellarke"

I decide to carry her to the dropship and call octavia.

She comes in real quick and takes a good five minutes to examine the cut. When she finally says "bell, i have no idea what to do."

Bellamy's P.O.V

I'm sitting next to an unconscious clarke, who is lying on a makeshift counter. Shes been like this for a week. Turns out, the cut went deeper than it looked. Lincoln knew what to do and he even gave us an antidote, for the blade was poisoned. But he had said that she would be unconscious for a couple of days. We're expecting her to wake up soon. She wakes up for a few seconds a day but doesn't say or respond to anything. We have been taking turns watching over her. I call jasper for his turn. It takes him five minutes to get there. I grab my jacket and head out the door, when i hear it. When i hear her scream.

I drop my jacket and run towards her. She lays there shivering and screaming.

And suddenly she stops and is as still as a rock. I put my fingers on her throat to get a pulse and pull back almost immediately, surprised by how cold her skin is. I put my fingers back and feel her breathing. " Clarke? " I shake her. She opens her eyes and looks around at the crowd that has gathered around her. Octavia is the one who shouts for blankets whereas im frozen in place by the relief. I carry her to her makeshift bed and cover her in around three blankets and sit beside her on a chair holding her hand. She starts to speak but can only stutter "thank you."

I smile and kiss her forehead "you should get some rest then we will talk okay?" She nods and closes her eyes. i get up but before leaving, i whisper "i love you"

After clarke wakes up we decide to go to the lake to wash up. Since a large number of people would attract attention we decide to go in groups of five. First group has me, clarke , octavia, jasper, and monty.

When we reach the lake ,i take off my shirt jump in. The rest follow suit. Im washing my hair when i get hit by a splash of water from behind, i turn to see octavia slightly smirking. I splash her back but she moves and i hit monty. Five minutes and we are all splashing each other. I stumble back as jasper splashes me for the third time and stumble onto a laughing clarke who was being splashed by octavia. I fall on her and we both fall in to the water. I get up and pull her up as well. I see octavia monty and jasper are heading back to camp. I look at clarke and push her back into the water and say "Not everyday we get to be alone do we." She smiles and i kiss her. She pulls back and laughs. Her wet hair jumps a bit when she gets up. She holds out her hand "we need to go". I get up and we head back to camp.

The next group had seen us in the water and apparently word got around fast. When we entered the gate we got a lot of stares and snickers. I could see it was getting to clarke by the look on her face. She walks off to her tent.

I follow her to try and comfort her. I hear her sobbing from inside. I walk in and see clarke with a tear rolling down her face. "Bellamy please leave. I dont want anyone seeing me cry."

"Its okay to cry and you shouldnt worry about anyone seeing you cry." She gives me a questioning look but doesnt say anything.

"I think you look really beautiful when you cry."
