THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW
The leaves danced to the wind's direction, flying into thin air as Shinyya watched one land in front of her feet. She looked down and clutched on the violin case tight while she randomly studied the small piece of nature deep in thought. It has been a week and a few days since the nationals and yet it still lingered on the ravenette's mind.
When she stared at the ground, she can't help but remember how it affected her friends, especially Atsumu who's been excessively overworking himself since then. As for Osamu, he was upset for a few days but soon he cared less and Shinyya knew exactly the reason why. But they were not the only people she worried about; she also worried about Suna, naturally, but this time it was different.
With Shinyya busy practicing for the finals competition in just two days, on the 20th day of January, and Suna busy catching up with school works he missed during the nationals, communication between them has been very hard lately. But they still walk together everyday, but with less conversations this time. Mostly, they've been walking with a few distance away from each other without saying a word.
For Shinyya, she thought that Suna only had alot in his mind which was true but is frustrates her to think that Suna would rather distance himself.
"Let's go."
A voice spoke coming from the exit of the gym. It belonged to Suna, calling for her attention as he stood in front of her with a bored look.
"Where are the twins?" She asked.
"They got an two hours left for detention." Suna replied and began walking, not even bothering to wait as Shinyya hurriedly packed her bag. "We'll go home first."
"Huh? But I'll go to the music room today to practice."
Suna turned around; his expression had a slight bit of annoyance. "You can always practice at home?"
"But my additional sheets are there and other members will borrow it too."
"Come on, you always practice without your sheets."
"But I should atleast practice with it once or twice."
"You're a prodigy, you don't need that." Suna rolled his eyes and snarled. "Plus, I have homeworks and projects that need to be finished by the end of the week. I need to get home."
"You keep saying that and yet you only sleep." Shinyya mockingly mumbled which made the middle-blocker raise an eyebrow at her. "You can go ahead. I can walk with the twins."
"What? You know I always walk with you from now on."
"Hey, calm down, I'm not angry." The violinist lets out a sigh once she caught up to his side. "You can go ahead, I promise I'm not mad. I'll just tell the twins that I'll wait for them in the music room."
"You can't stay there by yourself."
"Don't worry, I'll be fine."
"Why can't you just practice at my place?" At this point, Shinyya didn't fail to notice the annoyed tone mixed with Suna's voice that made her frown. "It's safer." He said and stopped. "And you know you can't be left alone even though you're inside the campus."
"I know that, Rin." Shinyya raised her hands in defeat as she slumped her back. "But you're supposed to be with me. If you don't want to I'm not forcing you. I just really need to practice."
"It's either you go home ahead and I'll stay here or you stay with me." She continued. "I prefer the former, it's obvious you don't want to come with me—"
