THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEWMaybe it isn't the piece she played, or how elegant she moved her fingers across the violin's neck; maybe it's the emotions Shinyya poured into the melody that got Suna entranced whenever he watch her play.
The moment didn't surprise him anymore. The melancholic aura every piece she played dominated the atmosphere, which was something that Suna has gotten used to for quite some time now. Though he never knew why it was always this sad; he just felt that this sadness has something to do about her being 'familiar'.
He watched the two girls who effortlessly play their instrument as his eyes slowly got droopy from the lack of sleep due to the endless calls every hour coming from a certain ravenette.
But he didn't mind, he wanted her to call him if ever anything bothered her anyway."Suna wake up."
The brunette jolted awake as a pain jabbed him in his ribcage. Hissing in pain, he turned to Osamu who was obviously the culprit.
"Why the heck are you tired? We only had an hour of practice today. What got 'ya up last night?"
I can't tell him Shinyya and I stayed up calling through the phone, he's gonna take it away. Suna thought, sighing and replied. "Watching hentai."
"That's weird. You never stay up late for anything."
"I do now."
"You're definitely not watching hentai." Osamu squinted his eyes suspiciously.
"How would you even know that?" Suna rolled his eyes.
"You're lying. It's a girl isn't it?"
"Could be. Could be not."
"Come to think of it, you and Shin are becoming close lately." The grey-haired twin ran a hand through his hair and sighed. "It won't be long 'till ya catch feelings, 'ya know?"
"I'm too lazy to like someone." Suna sighed.
"Yeah. Right."
The two fell silent for a minute as the violin and piano sounds just dominated their ears.
"But, I don't want you to get involved in her life."
Suna's brows creased as he turned back to Osamu who just broke the silence.
"What are you talking about?"
"There's a lot you don't know about Shin-chan, but you're obviously also one of the few friends she, 'Tsumu, and I trust." Osamu said. "She's going through a lot too and it's not like all the time 'Tsumu and I can be there for her. Just...try to be there for her. I know Shin's getting comfortable with you."
"I don't know what you're saying." Suna deadpanned.
"You care for her, obviously."
"I..."
Do I really care for her? Suna's mind wandered off to those moments where he found himself asking himself did Shinyya get enough sleep? Did she already eat lunch? Why is she crying? Why is the mood always sad whenever she plays? Just because I think of those doesn't mean I care for her, right? I'm just studying every bit of her actions for blackmail purposes. He scoffed and turned back to the front.
