THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW
Shinyya had just woken up from another nightmare. Staring at the ceiling, sprawled out like a starfish in bed with tears streaming down her face.
It was a nightmare far worse than the others. It wasn't her past, this time, it's a nightmare that showed the possible future.
The smallest movement was enough to startle her, one that can make her crawl up to the corner to break down. So she stayed put, not bothering to shout for Hina like what she used to do these past years, not bothering to move an inch from where she laid, and not bothering to atleast grab her phone to call that one guy who promised — and never broke his word — to answer her calls.
Shinyya was more than paranoid at the moment with her mind slowly going blank, until a ringtone snapped her out of her thoughts.
She jumped in her spot, hastily grabbing her comforters as she wrapped it around her body. Her eyes never left her phone that glowed brightly in the dark room as it continued ringing with possibly no sign of stopping soon.
Then a knock came from the window.
Goosebumps trailed along the ravenette's skin, crawling to the corner of the headboard carefully. The ringing didn't stop and so did the knocking. Shinyya was too terrified to try to make out the vague silhouette behind the curtains that covered the window and all she can do was wait for it to stop—
"Buuubbb?"
A familiar voice lazily whispered out; Shinyya's heartbeat slowed down at the sound of the voice she's been hoping to hear.
"Bub, I know you're awake."
"R-Rinrin?" Shinyya whispered back, unsure.
"Finally." The brunette middle blocker sighed as he stopped calling, making the ringing stop and retracted his hand from the window to place it in the pocket of his hoodie.
The window flew open, revealing the black-haired violinist trembling in what seemed like fear. Suna could only assume it was another nightmare, but something told him this was different.
Suddenly, he felt a pair of arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer until his nostrils took in Shinyya's familiar scent. Shinyya had her her face buried on the brunette's shoulder as she hugged Suna tighter and closer as if she didn't want to let go.
He was taken aback and confused, but Suna didn't mind and could even consider staying in that position forever.
"Miss me already, huh?" He teased, a smirk on his face until it was replaced by a frown when Shinyya didn't reply as he felt his shoulders getting wet.
"...you're fine," he heard Shinyya whisper repeatedly, "you're fine, you're fine..."
"Uhh, I am...are you okay?"
Suna gently pushed her body to face him, a confused look on his face when he saw the violinist's expression.
Shinyya was smiling at him — a forced one as she closed her eyes, but her cheeks were still stained with dry tears. "Just a silly nightmare." She chuckled nervously, but Suna knew it was nowhere near silly.
