MISUMI SHINYYAEven though Osamu offered help for me to sneak out behind Atsumu's over-protective ass, I decided to decline and just watch the volleyball team practice after dismissal.
I seated, more like the twins, placed me in the bench where only the coaches and manager were supposed to sit as I felt intense stares coming from fangirls who only stood by the far bleachers.
It's been long since I've seen the twins play and it brought a smile up to my face to see that they have improved alot. Not only that, but they were lucky to be in a formidable team with individually skilled teammates; like Aran being the team's ace, Kita and Akagi being great defenders, Osamu, Ginjima, and Oomimi being great spikers, to hear about Atsumu receiving the 'best setter' award, and the unmotivated and uninterested looking yet cunning (and weirdly bendy) middle blocker, Suna.
While they practiced, they communicated with ease and played as they enjoyed each other's presence as a team. Watching them from just a few meters away made my heart sink; imagining what I might be doing right now with my bandmates surrounding me.
Garage band, song writing, or maybe just a mere trip to the 90's with them.
Sighing at the fictional thought, I decided to survey the spacious gym, when out of the corner of my eye a person carrying a guitar case caught my attention from outside the gym doors.
Turning back to the boys who were seriously practicing, making sure none of them had their attentions at me, I grabbed my violin case and dashed out of the gym.
Then again, my eyes automatically locked on a series of instruments each carried by three different persons as they entered the room labeled "Music Room". The instant my eyes read it, I knew there was no way I'd ignore it.
"I received eight applications so far, Shouka-senpai." A short, blonde girl spoke to a taller, more authoritative one.
"They'd still have to audition, though I think they wouldn't pass Shouka's standards." A boy spoke as he twisted the guitar's pegs.
"That depends." The woman named Shouka shrugged as she wiped the dust away from the drums. "I just really wanna recruit skilled musicians this year."
"Yer too picky."
"Hey! It's for the betterment of the club!"
"Now now girls, calm down." The boy stepped in. "Argue after we entertain this lost girl who just wandered in here, 'kay?"
I then realized he was pointing at me, and the two women faced my direction as I slowly shrunk in embarrassment.
"I'm sorry to interrupt..." I mumbled.
"It's fine," the blonde said, crossing her arms, "What are ya doin' here?"
"I just wanna ask about applications—"
"No way!"
We all turned to Shouka who suddenly interrupted the blonde as she shouted. She stood from the stool, staring at me with eyes widened as she slowly approached.
"Y-you're Makinohara!" She said, surprised.
"H-how..."
