Chapter Thirty-Two

Jin woke up finding Jungkook standing in front of him by the bed with a tray in his hand; he took a deep breath, rubbing his eyes, "you made me breakfast?" he sat up entirely on the bed, resting his back against the headboard.

"It's lunch; figured it would be too late to make you breakfast."

There was a look of confusion as Jin stared at Jungkook, "what do you mean? What time is it?"

"Close to two, guess you were exhausted from moving. I should have been a better help; that's why I wanted to get the movers to help you." Jungkook said, taking a seat next to Jin, keeping the tray in his hands.

Jin's eyes widen, "you are kidding, right?" he gets out of the bed and grabs his phone, groaning as he stares at the time, one forty-five in the afternoon. "Crap, I don't usually sleep this late. I am sorry, the kids, are they okay?"

"They are fine. I made breakfast. We took a swim, Ye Jun was knocking at the door for you earlier, though, but I told him to let you sleep. Why don't you go clean up and then eat what I prepared? Maybe today you can rest in, and I will take care of the kids."

Jin gave him a nod, still feeling horrible; he had slept in so late, he went to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth. While in the bathroom, a smile formed on his lips, thinking back to the words he heard last night, but then his smile disappeared as he also thought about how upset he had gotten with Jungkook. Something he needed to talk with him about.

"How is it?" Jungkook questioned as he massaged Jin's leg and observed him eat the sandwich he had prepared.

"It's good, thank you."

There was some silence as Jin ate, and Jungkook continued massaging his legs. Then Jin let out a heavy sigh, "last night, you got me upset." he says, placing the tray down and pulling his legs away from Jungkook.

"What? How?"

"You kept telling Yu Mi we don't want kids when I don't remember us having that conversation. I know you have kids already, and maybe that's enough for you, but I don't have any of my own, and I want to. The last time in the hot tub without the condom, you immediately brought up birth control, which I got on, but I was concerned after your statements last night. I think before I moved in, we should have discussed this more because I don't know if it's me, and I am overthinking it, but do you not want any more kids?"

Jungkook moved closer to Jin, resting his hand on his leg, "I am so sorry, I think I spoke without thinking, of course, I would love to have a baby with you. When Yu Mi asked, I didn't want you to feel pressured into thinking we had to have kids, especially knowing how you feared and worried about moving in, I didn't want to create a reason for you to run; that's why I responded that way which now looking back I shouldn't have.

Seokjin, what you and I are creating means so much that I don't want to destroy it; I love you, and I want to continue expanding a family with you, there is no doubt with that, but I want you to be prepared for that. Things with the kids' A-"

"I am not him. I know things didn't work out, but I am not him and if you don't want to destroy what's blooming between us, stop thinking I am him, or I will act like him. You said communication is important. Can you honor those thoughts and communicate with me before assuming, if not, it will destroy us because your words offended me last night, and then you came and told me you love me, and that ignited a different feeling within me." Jin leans forward, cupping Jungkook's face, "I love you too, and I want to continue building what we have."

Jungkook smiled, and he pressed his lips to Jin's, "You are so right, you are nothing like him. I promise to communicate better because I don't want to lose this, I don't want to lose you." he says while pushing Jin down onto the bed.
