Chapter Eighteen

Retrieving a blanket from his room, Jungkook brought it to the living room and covered Jin, who had fallen asleep on the sofa. He then took up the cookie tray and milk glasses, bringing them into the kitchen to clean and pack them into the dishwasher. Once done, he returned to the living room and took a seat. Surfing through the channels, he found a movie to watch.

Jin stirred on the sofa, stretching his legs, hitting against Jungkook. Jungkook watched him with a smile on his face. He then took Jin's legs, placing them into his lap so he could sleep more comfortably. He knew he should have probably wake him to go to his bed, but he didn't want to. He wanted him to keep his company while he watched another movie, even if he was sleeping.

There was a buzzing sound, and he looked to see where it was coming from. His eyes locating Jin's phone, he tilts over to the table and stares at it, seeing an alert had come in from someone named Min Yoongi. There was a preview of the message, which caused Jungkook to raise his eyebrow.

I want to see you tomorrow; I miss.....

"So it's him. Not Jimin." He notes to himself. Digging in his pocket for his phone, he began searching up Min Yoongi to see if there was any information on him.

"Yu Mi, please wait!" Jin tried to stop Yu Mi, who rushed past him, running towards the door to open it, but failed to stop her while holding Ye Jun.

"It's my uncle." Yu Mi says, almost out of breath, pulling the door open for her favorite uncle.

Jin watched as she gets picked up by a man unknown to him, and Yu Mi hugged him tightly, "Uncle Tae, where were you? I missed you so much."

"I missed you more princess and I was away on a trip. I brought you and your brother lots of gifts. Do you want to see them?"

"I do, I do."

Jin did not know of Yu Mi having an uncle, so he became confused as he walked closer to the two, "excuse me, but who are-"

"He is my friend; I told Yu Mi to get the door, don't worry," Jungkook said, patting Jin on the back. "What drags you here?"

Taehyung kisses Yu Mi's cheek and looks towards Jungkook and then Jin; a smirk forms on his lips as he looks at Jin, and then he looks back at Jungkook, who rolled his eyes, making Taehyung laugh.

"I finished my work in London, so I am here for a week or two. Thought I'd come by and see my niece and nephew." He says to Jungkook, then turns to Jin, "Hi, I am Taehyung, a friend of Jungkook. You must be Jin?"

Jin was a bit taken back Taehyung knew he was, but he extended his hand and shook's Taehyung's. "Nice to meet you, Taehyung, and yes, I am Jin."

Taehyung sets Yu Mi down to stand up, and then he reached towards Ye Jun, who was in Jin's arms, "Do you mind if I take this little one? Ye Jun, your old man told me you broke your arm; what happened?"

He did not want to intrude on Jungkook and his friend's time. Jin turned and walked out of the room. He didn't know who exactly the man was, but it wasn't his business to pry. He was sure if Jungkook wanted him to know, he would have told him in advance.

He was also thankful for the opportunity to go to his room to finish packing his overnight bag as he was going to Yoongi's for the night.

While searching for a pair of his favorite shorts, there came a knock at his room door. Leaving his bag on the bed, he goes to open it, finding Jungkook standing there.

"Hey, what's up? Come on in." he offered to Jungkook, walking back into his room to finishing packing.

"You going somewhere?"

"Ahh, yeah, just for the night, though. I will be back tomorrow." Jin didn't work on the weekends and had only been there due to Ye Jun's care, so he didn't think he needed to give Jungkook any notice prior.

Jungkook crossed his arms across his chest and leaned against the door frame while staring at Jin. "Spending some time with Jimin?"

"No, actually I am going to see another friend of mine, we haven't seen each other in a while. But, was there a reason why you stopped by?"

Jungkook frowned, "well, I don't think it makes sense anymore since you already have plans."

"Wait, what happened?"

"Taehyung wanted to go out, and I was going to ask you if you could take care of Yu Mi and Ye Jun for me, but you have plans, so it's fine." Jungkook smiled at Jin and turned to leave.

Jin sighed, "I can stay with them."

Jungkook turned and looked at him, "what about your friend? I couldn't-"

"No, it's fine. I was up for going out tonight anyway. Your friend came all the way here to see you; go have fun; I will stay with the kids." Jin responded, smiling at Jungkook.

Appreciating Jin's response, Jungkook walked over to him and stared at him, "I will make this up to you." Leaning forward, he pressed his lips to Jin's forehead, startling Jin. "I know it's not the kiss you wanted, considering your actions last night-"

"Don't you dare bring that back up, I did not try to kiss you, and for the record, you are the one who just kissed me."

"I gave me a peck on the forehead, that was not a kiss, but if you are good, maybe later, I will let you get a real kiss." Jungkook gave Jin a wink and leaves the room.

"Who does he think he is? Just because he is hot, he thinks he can be like this. Okay, Jungkook, you wait."

"Okay, let's go out. What did you have in mind?" Jungkook asked Taehyung, sitting down next to him.

Taehyung raised his eyebrow, confused, "go out? why the sudden change of mind, I thought you said-"

"Forget what I said. I thought about it, and we should go out. I haven't been anywhere in a long while."

Taehyung had no problem with Jungkook's change of heart; he wanted to go out and have fun. "Aight, cool, so will Jin be joining us?"

"No, and he is off-limits!" Jungkook warns Taehyung.

"Trust me, after everything you told me; I figured he was."

"I asked him to babysit so he can't join us."

Taheyung rolled his eyes, "bullshit, let your parents babysit tonight, let Jin join us, ask him if he has any friends, and let them join too."

Jungkook stared at his best friend, he wanted to tell Taehyung no, but the thought of going out and having Jin there intrigued him.
