The Green Pea sat swaying in the wind, the wind was rough and waves splashed against the hull of the boat. Rain pattered down against the roof of the hotel and armed civilians slowly made their way out of the large heavy gate.

James woke up with a jolt and in a cold sweat, the nightmares had come back again. With Ryan he had someone to hold, someone to confide him but now he was just alone in a bed that felt too large for him. He didn't want to wake up, he didn't even want to get to this cursed island but at the same time he knew he had to, for Ryan, and for himself. James slowly pushed the covers aside and felt cold air rush over his body like a wave. He quickly darted across the room, grabbed his clothes then got dressed, hoping to retain as much heat as possible. Eventually he opened the creeky door and left the room. Bumping into wasp on his way out.

Wasp woke up many hours before James, they couldn't sleep. They stayed in bed for a few hours, waiting till the sun emerged from over the horizon. Once the sun was up they slowly got out of bed and packed up their stuff then walked out of the door. Wasp walked through the hallway and before they could stop themselves they crashed directly into James.

"Ow shit" James held his head which had banged off of the old wooden door, Wasp started to apologize hoping not to piss James off any more than he already was. The James gave wasp a look, a 'don't worry it's fine look', or even a 'watch where you're going but don't worry' the James walked quickly away down the steps, leaving a tip for the hotel manager as he left out through the old doors. Although it wasn't a quick meeting wasp felt relieved that James didn't punch them in the face this time.

As James got out he turned the collar of his jacket up to the wind then lowered his hat in an attempt to keep the salty rain out of his eyes. Wasp jogged up to him and trailed about a meter away from him like a sad dog. Wasp felt a little more confident about their face... considering it was hand sewn up. The pair walked down the pier together watching as the rain and the waves crashed down upon boats that still floated on the water, one of those boats was the Green Pea. No waves could sink the Green Pea and that would be their ticket out of here. James walked nervously up to a rugged looking woman who was wrapping a rope round one of the steel loops that were stuck to the pier.

James cleared his throat in an attempt of an introduction and the woman turned round. Her face was scarred and her hair was tied up keeping it out of her face as she worked. "What can I do for you?" She said with what sounded like an Australian accsent, strange. James explained that they needed a boat to get across to Sanctuary and she laughed. "Sanctuary, you're going to that shithole, pfft, good luck." Both James and wasp looked puzzled but ignored the sailors remarks, payed to rent the boat and put their stuff over the deck.

Just before they were about to set sail and woman dragging a toddler along ran through the gates. "WAIT" She shouted, the sailor stopped the boat and the woman clambered on. "My son, h-he is sick," she said trying to catch her breath at the same time, "My partner went to Sanctuary many weeks ago in search of medicine for him but he never came back.....please." the woman begged. The sailor rolled her eyes then let the mother and her sick, pale child on.

It was final, the crew was here and James was on his way to sanctuary, he needed to find Ryan's sister then try and...do something with his life. The Green Pea cut through the sea like butter as she sailed through the open waves. This was their final stop, the boat, James might as well make the most of the rest while he was here.
