Semi smiles as I explain my brother's antics to him, digging into his colossal order of fries.

"So that's why you ghosted me."

He dramatically states, and I lightly swat his arm.

"I did NOT ghost you! I didn't text you for one day, Mr. Drama Queen. Who knew you were so needy?"

I joke, sipping on my milkshake as I eye him up and down. Today, the ash blonde opted to wear a black hoodie and gray sweatpants, the casual look one that makes me drool over both him and my milkshake.

"Says you. You're the one who called ME, saying you missed ME and my quote un quote, 'pretty face'."

The setter retailates, casually taking a bit out of his fries.

"Yeah, and what about it? You have a pretty face, Semi-Semi!"

The blonde boy laughs at my words, the stunning sound causing many to glance over at our table in awe. Like me, they must be able to tell that Semi has a voice only angels can possibly possess.

"Anyways, you have a game tomorrow, right?"

I ask the boy once people stop looking at us, and he nods.

"Yup. If we win, Tendou's gonna ask out Ushijima."

He calmly states, causing me to squeal.

"Finally! I can't believe our plan worked!"

"Of course it worked, we're geniuses, remember?"

Semi answers me, giving me a quick high-five.

"I'll definitely text you with updates, but only if you text me about Yahaba and Kyōtani, okay? You have to pinky swear."

He bribes me, extending his hand out to me. The corners of my lips turn upward at the gesture, and I link my pinky with his.

"Deal."

"Game day!

Oikawa yells in my ear, and I laugh at the setter's antics as I shove stuff into my locker. Teru rolls her eyes at the brunette's actions, and I quickly notice the tension between them. Thankfully, Iwaizumi drags Oikawa away, and I sigh in relief.

"So, what's up? I feel like I haven't seen you in ages, since we filmed your Youtube vid."

I ask the influencer, watching as she scans her various textbooks.

"You know me, just making content while hanging with dudes at parties. How was your little date?"

Teru asks me, her words ones that would turn my face red if I had paler skin.

"It wasn't a date! Semi's just a friend, for now. But it was a fun time, if you must know."

I respond, closing my locker. The two of us begin the terrible troop to class, filling each other in on recent drama.

"So, Osamu is packing? It's always the quiet ones, I swear."

I casually state, Teru giggling at my words.

"Yup. You should get with his bro, so we can compare them."

She jokes, our laughter beginning to resound through the hallway. The sound of the bell cuts off our conversation, and I say my goodbye to the girl before walking to class.
