First of all, thank you so much for 1k views/reads! I never thought this would ever happen to me when I first made this book. Honestly, I was mostly making it for my own comfort, and the fact that it has brought other people happiness amazes me and makes me so happy. Thank you again and on with the story.

Y/n pov

I cracked open the door to my dorm room, looking out into the hallway. Seeing no people I stepped out and quietly shut the door behind me. My eyes adjusted to the darker light and I hesitantly took a step forward. My heart pounded out of my chest at the thought of someone catching me.

Taking a few more steps I winced at a creak in the floorboards. Crap do I really need it this bad? I furrowed my eyebrows and considered turning back. No, I have to do this. I took a deep breath and started to walk forwards. My mind raced as I walked, the feeling of guilt seeping into my chest and running through my veins. My breathing was rushed, almost excited at what would happen when I got to my destination.

I took a turn left, passing the bathrooms and walking towards the cafeteria. When I got to the double doors I stopped, my breath catching in my throat. I can't believe I'm doing this. Silently pushing just one of the doors open I took in my surroundings.

There were a few round tables sitting in the room, the chairs that went under them in the corner, stacked neatly. I gulped and let the door fall shut behind me, the last of the light from the hallway leaving with it. Pulling out my phone I turned on its flashlight and searched for the door that led to the kitchen. When I spotted it I slowly started to walk towards it holding my hand out in preparation. My footsteps quietly echoed through the room in a rhythmic manner only stopping when I reached the door.

I laid one shaky hand on the cool metal door handle, sucking in a breath as I did so. I pushed it down, flinching at the loud clicking sound it made in response. Nudging it open, I shined my light around. My gaze flicked from thing to thing as I searched for a specific object. I turned towards the fridge. Got it!

I hurried toward the wooden cube, desperation making my pace quicken. It felt like it took years to get there but when I did I felt shivers go down my spine. Sitting there on the cool marble countertop was a wooden knife block. It held all sorts of knives, from big to small, they all looked like heaven to me.

My eyes settled on the bottom row of handles. I reached my hand out, running my fingers across the cool metal. I savored the feeling for a moment before latching onto one handle and pulling it out. Holding it up to my phone light, I examined the blade. It was smooth and long, perfect for a clean cut. I set down my phone on the countertop and held the blade to my wrist. Counting to three I pressed down.

Pulling it across my skin I felt relief wash over me. Chills ran down my spine and my head spun a bit. Oh, how I missed this. I threw my head back as the familiar burning sensation flared up, intoxicating my mind. I want more. My thoughts repeating this simple phrase. Until I had three slashes on one arm and five on the other. Blood flowed and dripped down onto the countertop and I bathed in the feeling of having blood running down my arms and into my hands.

When I finally snapped out of my trace I turned my gaze towards the kitchen sink and made my way towards it still holding the small knife in my hand. I reached it and turned the water on, rinsing off both the knife and my arms. When I was done I wrapped my wet arms in paper towels and replaced the knife, like nothing ever happened. I grabbed my phone and headed back to my dorm room, feeling much much better.

Time skip

9:10 am

Buzz buzz

I awoke to my phone vibrating under my pillow. Who the fuck is texting me this early? I yawned and slid my hand under my pillow, grabbing my phone and pulling it out. I opened it to see a text from Megumi. My heart skipped a beat upon seeing his name and a smile instantly spread across my face. The text read, 'be ready at 11 we're going on a date.' I giggled to myself. So straightforward. I replied with, 'what if I refuse' just to tease him. He then texted back 'too bad' and I let out a shocked breath. Laughing, I responded with, 'you're lucky I was just kidding, see you then.'

I glanced up to the time and set my phone back down. I still have an hour before I have to get up.

10:36 am

I groaned as I rolled over, not wanting to leave my warm bed. I pulled out my phone and checked the time once again. My eyes widened. 10:36?! I flung the blanket off of me and swung my legs over the edge of the bed. Getting up I pulled on a sweatshirt from the floor to cover the fresh cuts and practically ran over to my wardrobe. I searched for a nice pair of jeans and slipped out of my shorts. Pulling on the jeans I rushed over to my desk grabbing a hairbrush and frantically brushing out my bed head. I then got my phone and checked the time. 10:50, thank god.

I sat back down on my bed, patiently waiting for Megumi to show up.

Aw man, don't you just love relapse? (that was sarcasm) The amount of times I've relapsed isn't even funny. Anyways bet you wanted to read about that date. Hehe, guess you'll have to wait for the next chapter.

Thanks for reading!
