UNCOMFORTABLE LUNCH

'' What are you doing?''

I turned around to see Ryan looking at me and Jack with a muredrous glint in his eyes. 

''Ryan!'' I screamed, shocked

''Jesus Christ! You scared me! Can't you say hello like normal people?'' I said my eyebrown knitting

'' You didn't answer my question what.are.you.doing.'' he said with the same murderous glint in his eyes

I sighed '' I'm on a date'' 

''What!?

''What!? Jack and Ryan both exclaimed at the same time

I rolled my eyes and gave a small laugh ''I'm kidding. I'm having lunch obviously''

Ryan didn't like the joke and gave me a glare which told me this is where I stop.

I cleared my throat and asked ''What are you doing here anyway?''

Ryan took a chair from a nearby table and sat down in the side between me and Jack.

''I had a buisness meeting nearby, so I thought I would drop by and say hello'' he said

''I went to your office but you weren't there and I was told I may find you here. So, I came here and it looks like you already had company'' he said turning towards Jack with narrowed eyes.

Jack wasn't easily intimidated but right now I could tell he was scared shitless.

Apart from that, why is ryan behaving this way? Drop by? In the novel Ryan never 'dropped by' to see OG Luna.

I broke the uncomfortable silence '' Oh! Sorry. Ryan this is Jack, Jack Wallace my dad's business partner. He has been guiding me these past weeks. Jack this is my husband, Ryan Osgard'' 

Jack extended his hand '' Nice to meet you Mr. Osgard''

the both shook their hands ''Likewise'' Ryan said

Back to the uncomfortable silence.

'' So, what were you both talking about? You seemed to be having fun'' Ryan said looking at me with a tight smile on his lips.

'' Oh just random things'' I said

''We were going to discuss the buisness plan of the Seattle project'' Jack said

''Hmmm, the one with Walter industries?'' Ryan asked. Me and Jack nodded

After that the convo went smoothly,thank you God. We discussed buisness and had an almost peaceful lunch. Almost.

''.......Yeah so Luna and I will be going to Seattle to discuss-''

''You're going where?'' Jack shouted turning his head to me. The murderous glint back in his eyes  

I was just going to take a bite of my food, I put my sushi role down.

''Calm down Ryan. Its' just a 3 day buisness trip'' I said looking annoyed

''You didn't say anything about a trip to me. I'm coming too'' he said looking just as much annoyed

''Don't be stupid Ryan stop joking and it's not a 'trip' it's a buisness trip'' I said

''I think imma go. I have a meeting'' Jack said and quickly got up and left us bickering there.

''So!? I'm coming. End of story.''

ryan said

'' Stop behaving like a child.Do I come on your buisness trips?'' i asked

'' No, but I won't mind it if you do'' he said 

''You're being a child.'' I said and got up

''Where are you going?'' he asked getting up too

'' To work. I have a meeting'' I said

'' But we're not done talking yet!'' he exclaimed

'' We''ll talk about it at home'' I said and walked inside, leaving him behind.

He's acting soooooo weird. What happened to him?
