''So...um mmh mmh we were kinda shocked when you came here with Alex'' my dad said nervously.

Mon looked at me curiously.

''I have realized I've been neglecting him and putting meaningless things over him so I've decided to try and become a better mom to him'' I said.

My parents' face lit up like a christmas tree

''That's great, you'll be a great mom honey'' my mom said

''So anyway, apart from that I've been thinking of strarting working. Opening my own store or something like that.....''

I looked at my parents' and saw frowns on their faces.

Why are they frowning?

Was me wanting to work so bad? I won't let them convince me not to work. The OG Luna never worked and leisurely spent her parents' and her husband's money.

In the novel OG Luna's dad gets a brain tumor and during the 1 year Luna is ceo, the company falls.

She was just using the company's funds to buy stupid things. In the novel the company goes bankrupt after her father's death and then after finding out what she was doing to the novel's heroine and Alexander he divorces her and she is left peniless and homeless.

She wasn't able to bare it and kills herself.

If god forbid Ryan Osgard, my dear husband  does divorce me then I will have my own money to stand on my own two feet.

YEA! Suck it stupid douchebag husband. I am a strong independent or to be independent 21st century woman!!

''I am happy that you want to start working and earning your own money but why do you want to open a store? Your father here has a company waiting for you. You should come work in my company, it's going to be yours one day eventually, you'd get the experience you need.''my dad said

''Your father's right sweetheart, you should start coming to the company if you wish to work'' my mom urged me on.

They are still doing it huh? 'sigh' I do want to be independent, but I don't really have any danger from my parents. They freaking LOVE me.

I guess it would be nice to gather experience and know what I will be having to deal with in the future.

''Ok that sounds nice. Can I start tomorrow?'' I asked smiling.

MY parents were ecstatic, especially dad

''My daughter coming to work in my company, I've been dreaming of this day ever since you could speak!!'' my dad said with the excited face of a 2 year old

Mom and I laughed seeing him like this.

''What are y'all twalking awout?'' Alex asked walking into the room rubbing his eyes.

''Oh are you already up honey? you sure you don't wanna sleep some more?''

I asked, it's only been half an hour.

''No, i'm not sweepy awymwore'' he said plopping down on the couch next to me.

Where does he get so much energy from?

''Let's get  you some snacks to eat shall we?'' my mom asked

''yea!'' 

They both started towards the kitchen, while walking there lil dumpling looked back and asked'' Mama nwot cowing?''

''Go ahead, I'll be right there'' I said smiling

HE smiled back and said an Ok and followed his grandma into the kitchen.

 I looked at my dad, who was looking at me and alex with shining eyes.

On the way back home, lil dumpling told me so many of his school stories in such an excited manner, I was afraid he was gonna bite his tounge.

I listened with great intrest.

When he was singing along with the nursrey rhymes playing I thought about tomorrow.

I was excited but nervous at the same time. Would I be able to keep up?

hooooh,, guess we'll have to see tomorrow.

''
