MORGAN LOCKHART AND ANGELINA PEIRCE II CALL IT QUITS AFTER TWO YEARS OF DATING

The two Hogwarts sweethearts have seemed to broken up sometime before Siobhan Wood's and Dae Park's wedding last weekend.

Morgan had brought a new date along and seemed to appear very in love, we hear from trusted sources. While Angelina was seen alone for the majority of the night before disappearing before the party was truly over.

It seems the breakup was less than amicable.

Angelina II is the granddaughter of Angelina Peirce, Health Minster from 1999 to 2019. She's currently following in her grandmother's footsteps as she's enrolled in healer school as well. Though from fellow classmates we've heard this Angelina seems to have an interest in anything that's not pertaining to what's being taught in class.

"Now that's just mean," papa mutters, peering over my shoulder at the paper. "I still don't understand why they still call you Angelina the second. Wouldn't Ellie be so much easier?"

I lower the newspaper and smile at him. "Right? If these trusted sources can tell them all about my life, they might as well also add in the name I go by."

He hums, nodding. Then pours himself some more green tea, which he hates but nonna always buys too much of it believing he likes it, so he sucks it up and just drinks away.

Technically, he's famous in his own right. In the muggle world, he's this big deal in the military. He was, or still is, a General and before he finally retired, he was the Commander of United Kingdom Strategic Command (It's a mouthful, we always joke about it during family dinners). But, when the trashy wizarding gossip columns report about us, he's reduced to simple "Angelina Peirce's muggle husband." He actually likes it because he says he feels the most normal when they've reduced him to just an extension of nonna.

God, they're so in love. When I was little, they're the example of love I really had to admire with my parents' relationship always in shambles. It always made guilty because all I wanted was for them to be my parents because I just always felt like would be so much better.

"Ellie, as much I love keeping secrets," he starts, voice thick with sarcasm. "Maybe it's time to tell everyone about what you did last month."

I grimace.

He doesn't look impressed.

"Next week," I say. "Summer's just started, I wanna enjoy it a little before I let everyone down."

"Hey, you're not letting anyone down. Some things in life just don't work out, Ellie. There's nothing to be upset about. You just learn from it and move on."

He's some wise Yoda-like figure in my life, that's the most important thing to know. I might love my nonna and dad to death, but I trust my papa with my soul.

The tea burns my throat. "I just need some more time."

So, the newspapers were right. I could care less about it what's going on in the classroom and though I got good marks and was on the path to becoming a good healer, I'd always find myself staring out the window just wondering.

Wondering, if this was it for me. If for the rest of my life I'd just spend it in hospitals and with sick patients. That life was more than fulfilling for many people but was it good for me? Then, that led me to the question, why was I even here? It took some thinking and I spent the entirety of spring pondering over it.
