Last picture of Zabuza and Haku
(I thought this one was really cute)Third Person's POV
"Ninja art: Hidden Mist Ninja." Zabuza presses a one-hand sign against the bandages covering the bottom part of his face. Kakashi gasps. A cloud of even thicker mist draws in, blanketing the entire bridge in no less than ten seconds. The whiteness of the mist envelopes the Mist assassin and he soon vanishes within his Jutsu.
This is it. Kakashi clutches his Leaf headband and pulls it up to reveal his single Sharingan eye. He has no other option but to use the same trick twice on Zabuza, even though he's been told that it's worthless at the moment.
During the first battle after he and his squad entered this country, Zabuza's partner Haku was there the whole time, examining Kakashi's every move, including the power of the Sharingan. But still, Kakashi would still use it either way. He has three people to protect from the Mist assassin who wants to kill the bridge-builder, and possibly his students if they get in the way. Kakashi will use the Sharingan for their sake.
The mist is getting thicker every second, Akari states internally as she squints her eyes at her surroundings, but there's nothing but white air in every corner. Even with her ability to catch sight of everything, she's unable to perceive a single thing.
"Sensei," Sakura calls out to the Jonin for any new strategies that can help them.
"Stay with Tazuna, and do not leave his side Sakura." With that direct order from her instructor, Sakura salutes with a nod.
"Right! I'll do whatever I can." Sakura jogs on ahead to the the bridge-builder. Akari attempts to follow her behind since it's better to have two bodyguards instead of one.
"Akari." Halting midway, Akari turned to the Jonin who called her unexpectedly. "Be on the lookout. Don't let anything happen to them."
"You have my word sensei."
__________________________
Akari and Sakura both have their kunais wielded. Akari is covering the bridge-builder's front while Sakura is in the back. Quickly crossing her eyes from the side to side for any possible sneak attack, Akari raises her kunai close to her.
Her first mission as a bodyguard didn't seem that appealing to her in the beginning, but now that she's in a current situation where everyone's lives are at stake, she should've kept it in mind that not every mission is an easy task. And especially when you're up against an assassin that can kill you in an instant without you even knowing that your time is up. Zabuza is that perilous.
Kakashi, the Copy Ninja with the most powerful Kekkei Genkai from the great Uchiha Clan, can't even keep up with Zabuza. Zabuza is too strong, like he isn't human. And his partner who he proclaimed to be the ultimate fighting machine is more skillful than he is, like a child prodigy. But all of that didn't matter to Akari, not even a little.
Akari has gone through high-class training at a young age too, with the greatest instructor, who was also her guardian. She was taught everything that her guardian knew, including strength training, chakra control, close combat, target practice, the basics of Ninjutsu, and so on. Surely it was all hell and suicidal, but the brutality led Akari to be who she is now. The only difference between them and her is that Akari was never trained to be anyone's tool for their own desires. Akari has her own path to follow and she will stick to it as long as she lives.
Narrowing her eyes to either side, Akari keeps her guard up by concentrating on any slight changes in the atmosphere. Since Kakashi's Sharingan is no good for this type of weather, that would mean that Akari's Kekkei Genkai is just as worthless as his. Activating it to increase her senses wouldn't do a thing to help her and her comrades. Her job to protect the bridge-builder is all that matters now.
