TROYE'S P.O.V
I was leaning on Tyler's shoulder, still angry and upset over what had just happened. Tyler's nose had stopped bleeding a while ago. "Again, Tyler i'm so sorry," I rambled on. I really felt bad for Tyler. I can't believe Steele and Tyde are doing this all over again.
Around a year ago I had a boyfriend named Robin. He was so nice and sweet but he was 4 years older than me. One day I brought him home and introduced him to my family. Mum, Dad and Sage approved of him and loved him to pieces. Tyde and Steele had a totally different perspective of him though. They hated him. They would trip him over, make fun of him, give him death glares and pretty much anything else mean you can think of.
When Robin would go home, Tyde and Steele would give me a lecture about how he was going to break my heart one day and that it would never work out. Eventually Robin and I split up and went our seperate ways. It was a nightmare for Robin and I don't want Tyler to have to go through that same experience of being rejected by your boyfriend's brothers.
"Heyy...Troye," Tyler said softly and sympathetically. "Mmm?" I mumbled, having no effort to form full words and sentences. "Do you still want to take me to the mystery place like you wanted to before?" Tyler asked. I thought for a second before agreeing and standing up. I retrieved the blindfold and wrapped it around Tyler's head, his soft hair brushing against my hand. I put his glasses in my pocket and led him to my car. I helped him sit down and buckled his seat belt for him.
"I'll be right back, ok?" I told Tyler. He nodded and smiled. I ran back into the house and picked up the picnic basket sitting on the bench that I had filled with delicious food only a while ago. "Mum! Dad! Tyler and I are going out, we will be back soon!" I screamed to my mum and dad who were probably in the lounge room or upstairs.
As i'm walking to the front door Sage, Mum and Dad run towards me and stop right infront of me. Smiles were spread across their faces and they were filled with excitment. "You and Tyler are dating!" Dad fangirled. "I'm so happy for you Troye," Mum added. Sage started jumping up and down on the spot. What are they talking about?
"Woah! Woah! Woah! What are you guys talking about?" I interupted all the excitement. "You said that you and Tyler are going out..." Dad explained, his voice going soft and filled with unsureness. I facepalmed myself and sighed. I wish we were going out. "When I said 'going out' I meant going out of the house. We aren't dating." As I said that all the excitement disappeared and the smiles wiped off of their faces. "Oh.." Sage sighed. Mum hugged me and whispered, "Have fun honey."
They all started walking away as I stepped out of the house onto the driveway. I put the picnic basket in the boot of the car and then slipped into the driver's seat. "Ready?" I asked Tyler. As I said that Tyler jumped of fright and started laughing. "Oh my god! Troye! I didn't know you were back. You scared the shit out of me! Don't do that!" Tyler said loudly, his hand on his chest.
I laughed, "I take that as a yes." I started the car and begun driving to the mystery place.
We had been driving for about 30 minutes and Tyler was still blindfolded. "Are we there yet?" He dragged on for the millionth time. "Nooooo! Stop asking Tilly, don't worry. We are close." He sighed in boredom and disappointment before settling back down in his seat. Uggghhh! I hate seeing him like this.
I placed one hand on his thigh and he immediately stiffened up. I quickly put my hand back on the steering wheel and began to sweat. Why did I do that? Oh my gosh! That was so stupid Troye. I looked over to see Tyler smiling. "Troyeee...Why did you move your hand?" He pouted. He doesn't care that I just touched his thigh? I hesitantly placed my hand back on his thigh and he smiled again. He grabbed my hand and squeezed it. "It's ok Troye Sivan. I'm not bored anymore." I blushed and continued driving with one hand. I probably shouldn't be driving with one hand considering I got my license only a couple months ago.
When I pulled up in the carpark Tyler instantly sat up. "Can I take the blindfold off now?" He pleaded. I laughed and shook my head. "No, not yet." He slumped back in his seat and I laughed even harder. I jumped out of the car and retrieve the picnic basket from the boot. I then opened Tyler's car door and helped him so he didn't fall. I could hear the crashing waves as I held Tyler's hand in mine. We walked until we found a little picnic bench and I smiled. "You can take the blindfold off now," I told Tyler.
He removed the piece of cloth and I gave him his glasses. He gasped as soon as his vision was clear. The picnic table overlooked the beautiful beach with not a single person in sight. The afternoon sun shining on the clear blue ocean and white sand. "This is beautiful Troye." Tyler smiled and hugged me. I blushed and placed the basket on the table.
We sat down next to each and and started unpacking all the food. 'You hungry?" I asked Tyler. "I'm always hungry, so yes." I giggled and unwrapped the foil off of the steak sandwiches. I gave one to Tyler and started eating the other. I offered Tyler a can of Coke and started drinking some out of my own can. As we ate I rested my head on his shoulder and watched the beach, the slight breeze ruining both his and my own hair.
