TYLER'S P.O.V
Thank god my flight was nearly over. I've been sitting in the same spot for 4 hours listening to a teen dad try and calm down his newborn son. I accidentally packed my laptop in my suitcase which is currently at the bottom of the plane. I really wish I didn't leave packing till the last hour and rush everything. I would've been able to play my laptop and plug in my headphones so I don't have to listen to this stupid baby.
The only thing I have to do is play my phone and scroll through social media. Usually I could scroll through social media for hours but I have already read everyone's tweets and seen everyone's instagram pictures about 3 times now. Why is nobody updating their profiles? I'm getting super bored just refreshing my feed every 30 seconds only to find that nobody has posted anything.
Wait, did I actually tell my audience i'm going to Playlist Live? I don't think i've really mentioned it. I quickly pulled my phone out from the pocket of my sweatpants and opened Twitter. It took about 10 minutes to construct what I was going to say but I was finally happy with it so I clicked tweet and slid my phone back into my pocket.
"We are now landing in Orlando, Florida. Please stow away your trays and buckle up your seat belts."
I immediately sat up and started following the pilots instructions. I buckled my seat belt and stared out the window. I watched the city below us get closer and closer as we descended into Orlando Domestic airport. This city is so pretty. The buildings are beautiful. I don't think this city will ever not amaze me. It's so-
"We have now landed in Orlando Domestic airport. Feel free to unbuckle your seat belt. The time in Orlando right now is 3:00pm and its 78 degrees Farenheit. If you're here for a holiday enjoy your stay, if you are arriving back home then welcome home. Thank you for flying with U.S airways from all the staff and myself."
I better get out before the aisle starts to fill up and I have to wait for nearly every single person to get off the plane. I squeezed past the dad and his baby and sprinted down the aisle. I'm glad I didn't have a backpack to take on the plane because with how eager I was to get off I probably would've forgotten it.
I sprinted to baggage claim and stopped in front of the conveyor belt. I scanned every single suitcase that came through until I found my familiar small, blue suitcase. I struggled to pull it off the conveyor but managed to get it off after the 3rd try. 3rd time lucky I guess. I wheeled it outisde the airport and called a taxi. Ten minutes later it pulled up right in front of me. A tall guy with a cute butt jumped out of the taxi, grabbed my bag and put it in the boot of his cab. He then gestured me to get in and winked at me. I blushed furiously but tried to hide it as a jumped into the passenger seat of the car.
"Where are we going?"
I gave him the address of the hotel I was staying at and we were on our way. He tried to make small talk but we weren't really having a conversation. I looked over at him to see him biting his lip and staring at the traffic in front of us. Damn, he is hot. I watched his muscles flex as he gripped onto the steering wheel very tightly. He looked kind of nervous. I don't know why he would be. Is it me that's making him nervous? Am I making him uncomfortable? Did he see me checking him out? Oh my gosh how embarrassing!
"Sorry I just have to ask. Are you gay?"
My eyes widened at his unexpected question.
"Y-yeah..I am."
He face went from nervous to a huge smirk and he looked very confident.
"Are you single?"
"U-umm..at the moment yeah. I just haven't really found the right guy. I've dated in the past but it didn't really work out," I answered truthfully. I don't know if he is trying to hit on me or if he is just curious. We arrived at our destination and he pulled out a small piece of paper from his jacket pocket.
"You're pretty cute. Call me."
I looked down at the paper then back at him. I grabbed the paper from his hands and mumbled a quiet "Thanks," before reaching for my wallet to pay him.
"Don't worry about paying. Cute people get their ride on the house." He winked at me again before getting out of the car to retrieve my suitcase. I blushed and went to grab my door handle. Just as I was about to open my door it automatically flew open. I was shocked at first until I realised it was the taxi driver opening my door for me with my suitcase already out of the boot and leaning against a palm tree.
"I didn't catch your name by the way."
I lifted my eyebrow skeptically before replying "Tyler."
"Nice to meet you Tyler, my name is Micheal."
I nodded and smiled at him before walking to pick up my suitcase. He jumped back into his cab and drove off. I think he is a bit too confident and i'm not really interested. I mean, I am very thirsty but he just isn't my type. I walked towards my hotel and spotted a few familiar faces as I walked in.
"Tylerrrrrrrr!" I heard a high-pitch voice from the other side of the entrance. That is a british girls voice that I will never not be able to recognise.
"Zoe!" I yelled in response before she ran over and hugged me. Alfie and Marcus were walking towards us and smiling. I let go of Zoe and greeted both Alfie and Marcus with a welcoming hug.
"Hey Tyler, i haven't seen you for ages," Marcus said with a big smile on his face.
"I know right! I've missed you guys." Zoe, Alfie and Marcus all flinched when my voice all the sudden went really high. We all then burst into laughter. "I'll catch up with you guys later. okay? I've got to put all my stuff in my hotel room."
They all nodded and walked away starting their own conversation as I started walking towards the reception desk. I got my hotel room key and continued with my suitcase towards the elevator. I clicked the button signalling for the elevator to stop on the bottom floor. The elevator door opened and I walked into the elevator only to be stopped by another human being colliding their forehead agaist mine and us both falling onto each other and landing on the cold hard tiled floor of the lobby.
I felt a body lying on top of me but I couldn't make out who it was because my vision was too blurry. My glasses must've fallen off.
So wait, who is lying on top of me?
