The Malfoy family had changed ever since the war had ended. What they knew now was that what mattered most was having each other.
Still, Lucius and Narcissa were still biased against the muggles and muggle-borns, though they were less strict about them.
Draco, however, changed slowly. He had promised to himself that if the time were to come when he had a child of his own, he'd raise him better than what his parents had raised him.
Cassie was far better, too. In June of 1998, she had gone to the cemeteries, placing a rose at Cedric Diggory's grave. If only he could have seen her now, but Cassie knew he would have been smiling at her.
Cassie walked to another grave. There, Adrian and Viola kneeled beside it, giving their flowers. Cassie approached them, setting her flower next to theirs.
"I think she would have done great things," Adrian spoke.
"I don't think, I know," Viola said and sighed.
"She'd have been proud of all of us," Cassie told them. "I know it."
From far away, a man watched them. A smile etched upon his face, then he apparated. He came into a street in Cambridge and entered an abandoned building.
"Sorry, I'm late," he apologized.
"Hope you have good reason, Harris," the man at the end of the table said.
"I do," he replied. "I've been watching the daughter of the Malfoys. She went to the cemeteries to mourn Cedric Diggory's and Adelaide Murphy's death."
"I've killed one of them," he said, still looking down. "Next it's her family, then those blood traitors — the Weasleys. I'll kill them all." He looked up, his green eyes burning holes into Harris'. "Every one of them... Right in front of her very eyes. That blood traitor must be punished."
"We're with you, Morrighan," replied the man beside him. "All of us."
About two dozen of people were inside the large room and spoke in agreement. Morrighan smiled. The thought of Cassie watching as every one her loved ones perished.
"She doesn't have an idea of what will come next... "
