The sun rose over the hills, its rays reaching every valley and house. Cassie awoke in the middle of morning, ready to be productive. She had a plan that day — get through the dress rehearsal unscathed and hopefully unnoticed.

Cassie got out of bed, fixed her hair, and face. No one wanted to see a monster who just got out of bed. She got to her closet to pick out her outfit to wear to the rehearsal. She stared at her closet for a good thirty minutes.

Cassie had never been to a wedding rehearsal so she had no idea what to wear. She was unsure if she was supposed to dress casually or in fancy attire — dress, heels, the whole thing.

Cassie's dress wardrobe was quite dark to say the least. She was a bit surprised by it. There were no bright colors like yellow and orange. Cassie still had one of her black cloaks in there from two years ago.

There was a knock on the door, startling Cassie who was in a daze. Zach came inside, covering his eyes as he said, "All right, are you changed? You good? Okay, let me see your dress. Surprise me... in three... two... one!"

Cassie stared at him blankly, then she smiled sheepishly. Zach heaved a sigh. She was still in her night clothes. Shorts and a shirt. Zach heaved a sigh, covering his face.

"I have never been to a wedding rehearsal," Cassie said defensively, turning back towards her wardrobe. "I don't know if it's supposed to be casual or fancy, full out diamonds and fancy glitters... "

"Well, I hear the color theme is a pale pink, white, and gold," Zach said, looking at her dresses. "It's not the 'diamonds and fancy glitters' but something simple yet eye catching at the same time."

"Well, my dress wardrobe is full of black, green, navy blue, burgundy, and some white," Cassie told him. "Doesn't really scream 'pink princess.'"

"Then we go shopping," he smiled.

"It starts in the afternoon," Cassie reminded him. "I'm a pretty picky person. We might be late."

"Then we find a dress suitable to your taste, and mine, and arrive at the venue," Zach said. "Come on!"

"Maybe I just don't attend and you can go in my stead?" Cassie hoped.

"Maybe you get over your fear and show those people you are not a coward?" he remarked.

Cassie scoffed. "Fine... but we are not spending an hour in each store."

Cassie changed into a casual formal attire — a black top tucked into denim jeans with a black blazer. She went down the stairs where Zach was waiting, wearing on of his best suits.

"Going to Diagon Alley first?" Cassie asked him.

Zach shook his head. "There are much more fashionable dresses on the streets of London."

"I'm not trying to stand out," Cassie reminded him. "Half — most of the people there are not on good terms with me."

"It's been two years," Zach said. "Don't you think they've gotten over it?"

Cassie looked down, unsure herself. She shook her head and looked back at Zach and said, "Following your lead."

She took Zach's arm and they apparated to the streets of London. Shop after shop they went. There was no doubt in Cassie's mind that Zach had good taste and was quite fashionable. Zach would pull up some random dress, and though Cassie could pull it off, he always thought there was something better.

An hour past and they were on their third store. Zach looked through the racks, picking out different dresses in colors of white and shades of pink.
