A satisfied groan came from you as you stretched your limbs and took off your uniform, your tired body then falling limp on the cushion of the swivel chair where you sat. You already finished your shift yet you still have a lot of work to finish, like marking tests and a lot more similar to that, you name it. And even if you want to be done with everything already, you know your body won't let you so you scurried to bring yourself to the bed to rest. Work is important but your health is priority.

Speaking of work, Diavolo is late, he should be home by now and you find it suspicious. That man only comes home late is if he either has to or requested himself to overtime. "What a hypocrite. ", You sighed and opened your phone to ask him of his whereabouts.

As you laid your hand on the mattress once again, you felt your phone shortly buzz. So you went to see if the Diavolo has finally replied and...he still haven't, but you received a message from Eve which made you raise a brow upon seeing her name on top of the screen. Normally, she's too busy assisting her father along with F/N about doing works related to the school where you're working and is usually only available at night. This makes it highly unlikely of her talking to you in day unless it's urgent. So in an instant, you went to read what she said.

ThirdBraincell: Y/N
ThirdBraincell: Remember Prof. Seraph?
ThirdBraincell: The ones in art class?
ThirdBraincell: He's missing.

Your eyes widened, heart immediately pounding in your chest. That's right, you haven't heard anything from the fellow teach for about a week now.

FirstBraincell: What happened?

It took a minute for the woman to reply as you sat up, your focus solely glued to the bright screen.

ThirdBraincell: He's been missing for a week now and no one knows why.
ThirdBraincell: We tried contacting him but he doesn't answer. His brother has no idea as well since he lives across the city, away from Seraph's house.
ThirdBraincell: Their remaining family also lives outside the country so they're completely clueless of the situation.

Muttering a quiet 'What the hell?', you typed your response.

FirstBraincell: Did the police held an investigation already? If so, did they find something?

You began biting your nails in anticipation. Even if you're not close with the man on a personal level, he's still a good friend of yours so worrying for him is unavoidable. It didn't take long for Eve to send a picture of an open cardboard box filled with canvases, some blank and empty while some are not.

ThirdBraincell: The police found nothing suspicious in his house but his brother and i do.
ThirdBraincell: Seraph doesn't teach in art class for nothing. He's ABSOLUTELY passionate in art, i tell you that.
ThirdBraincell: I'm sure that by now, you're aware that he's an artist and he makes manga and comic oneshots frequently.
ThirdBraincell: He never published any of his works and just enjoys sharing it with his students after class.
