I woke up to an empty bed, the quiet reminding me that I'd thrown Jungkook out last night. A small pang of sadness tugged at me - I'd actually been looking forward to waking up beside him.
College felt like the last thing I wanted to deal with, but I wasn't about to hide from the world. With a heavy sigh, I dragged myself out of bed and headed for the bathroom.
The marks on my collarbone, trailing down toward my cleavage, had deepened overnight. I layered on plenty of compact until they were at least half-hidden, then slipped into a navy blue long-sleeved hoodie to keep them out of sight.
Pairing it with flared jeans, I finally stepped out, ready -or as ready as I could be- to face the day.

Got a lot of hate for the last outfit choice 😭 so I'm switching it up- hopefully this one lands better! (And yes, reminder: this is a college setting 👀)

I stood at the front gate of the college, drawing in a deep breath, bracing myself for the chaos waiting inside.
No one shouted "Araaa!" across the street, sprinting toward me.
No one wrapped me in a hug, fingers intertwining with mine - because she wasn't there anymore.
She was gone.
Mina was gone.
I was about to step onto campus when a familiar figure passed by, chatting happily with another girl.
Mina.
She didn't even glance in my direction - or maybe she didn't even realize I was there, trailing behind her in hesitant, smaller strides. She laughed at something Eunha said - Eunha, the classmate who'd joined two months before me.
