Everything around me blurred into static—muffled voices, shuffling feet, police radios crackling.
I couldn’t move. I couldn’t even breathe properly.
Then a voice broke through the noise.
A voice I knew too damn well.
“Move—what is it?”
Jungkook’s tone sliced through the crowd. I didn’t even have to look to know it was him.
And then he was right beside me. “Ara—what—I—HOLY SHIT.”
He froze, horror etched on his face. His voice cracked midway, eyes wide as he took in the sight of Hana’s body.
“Damn this—oh my god—”
Before he could finish, another voice came rushing through the chaos. Taehyung.
But one look at the scene and he was gone—running out, gagging, vomiting halfway down the hall.
My hands started shaking. My legs wobbled. It felt like the entire corridor was spinning.
Why would she kill herself?
She was fine yesterday. She was—she was alive.
How could she stab herself like that?
The thought made my stomach twist. I stumbled back, covering my mouth, and then I ran.
I barely knew where my feet were taking me until I burst into the girls’ restroom. I slammed the door shut behind me and leaned over the sink, splashing cold water over my face again and again.
But Hana wouldn’t leave my mind.
Her eyes—wide, bulging, lifeless. Her lips—dry, blue, parted like she wanted to say something before the end. Her skin—pale as paper, her body motionless, soulless.
And that blood. God, that blood.
I gripped the edge of the sink, shaking violently. Then I broke. I collapsed, sobbing, my knees hitting the tiles.
