I slam my locker shut for the last time today. Not long after elli comes up to me.
"Hey I dont need a ride home today fonns giving me one." She says with an insane amount of enthusiasm.
Elli's liked finn since the third grade. Finn is a shy, quiet, freckled, curly headed boy. He's a nice looking boy but not my type, plus I'll never steal my best friends man, that's low.
"Alright I guess I'll ride alon-" I try to make myself sound sad but my phone rings, it's my mom, help, what did I do this time.
(Bold=mom)
"Hey y/n/n can you do me a huge huge favor"
"Yeah mom what is it?"
"Can you go pick up your brother and his friends and take them somewhere, I'llpayyou10buckskthanksbyeeee"
Then she hung up.
"Welp it looks like I'm not riding alone" I say as I start walking, elli following.
"Who's going with you" she asks.
"My brother and his little friends" I say very irritated.
"Hey elliana, hey y/n" I hear finn shout from behind us
I see elli's face flush with a light crimson color from the corner of my eyes.
"Hey finn." She says
"Hi finn" I say
"U ready ells" he asks
She gives me a look that screams 'I dont wanna leave you alone', I give her a look of permission and she nods.
She starts walking then turns back to look at me, while I mouth 'spill the tea when u can'. I see her chuckle. When thier gone I start to walk to my car, then hear my name shouted.
"Y/N" I turn around to see noah in his football uniform.
"Yeah?"
"I have a game tonight so I wont be able to help with the project." He says blankly as if he didnt want to do that project in the first place, and honestly I'm not surprised.
"Oh um that's fine if you want me to I can start working on I-" I start saying but get interrupted by noah.
"I was thinking maybe you could come watch the game." He asked me
"Yeah sure but first I need to go pick up my brother and his friends." I tell him.
"Alright it starts in 45 minutes." He tells me reassuringly.
"Ok I'll be here"
He waves bye and runs back to what I call 'the team of jackasses'.
With that I jog back to my car, put my keys in the ignition, and speed off.
About 10 minutes later I arrive at my house to see a bunch of 12 year olds outside.
I decide to have some fun so I scare the shit out of them by honking the horn on my car.
I pull up to them and roll my window down and begin to speak.
"Get in the car were going to a football game." I say with an irritated voice
They all get into the back seat whilst my brother gets into the passenger seat.
"Dude I thought you said his sister was hot" one of the little kids said, I think his name was brayden.
"She is" one of the other ones said.
"Can you guys stop calling my sister hot"my brother asked clearly disgusted.
"I'm not calling her hot" the kid brayden said.
"Ughgg y are we going to a football game again?"
"Cause a player wants me to go watch him,"
"Is that your boyfriend?"
"No hes not, ges not even my friend, hes more of an acquaintance" I say blankly
"Oh"my brother said
