We head out the window and climb up the ladder to Tommy's room. Tommy was sitting on his bed when we came in and looked at me and Ellie. "Looking good Kim Possible" he says to me as he stands up and I walk towards him shaking my head. "I'm actually really proud of you for that, I hope you know." I say and spin around so he can see my whole outfit.
"Tommy, you've already talked with her, but this is Ellie" I say as Ellie holds her hand out. "I know we said you can't fangirl but you don't have to be this professional," Tommy says as he pulls her into a hug. We all talk for a minute before we hear the doorbell ring.
"I'll go get it," Tommy says as he exits his room. I look over to Ellie and I can see that she is breathing heavier. "Don't worry girl, he isn't some big celebrity, he's a teenager just like you and me." I tell her as I grab her hands and help her slow hear breathing down.
Once her breathing slowed, the door to tommy's room opened and Tommy and Toby came in. Toby walks over to me and pulls me into a tight hug. "It's so good to finally meet you in person" Tubbo says as he rocks our hug back and forth. "Same to you" I reply.
He lets go of me and I back away 'please don't mess this up Ellie' I repeat over and over again in my head. "Hi, I'm Ellie, it's nice to meet you." She says as she waves to Tubbo. "Hi, I'm Toby" he replies and waves back. We continue to talk for a while, and it's really surprising me how well Ellie is handling this.
One time, when she was visiting her family in Utah, she was facetiming me and she ran into Joshua Basset. She literally started to freak out. But she was talking to him like he was someone from school.
"So, are we ready to hit the road?" Tubbo asks. "Where are we going?" I reply. "It's a surprise" Tommy chimes in with a mischievous smile on his face. We all head out to Tubbo's car "Because he is 17 and can legally drive). Tubbo was driving, Tommy was in the passenger seat, and me and Ellie were in the back seat.
"Can I have the aux" I say when we get in the car. "No, I want the aux" tommy whines to Tubbo. "Tubbo, can I please have the aux." "I'm sorry but I'm gunna have to pass the aux to Y/N, your music is so boring." Tubbo says as he passes the cord back.
"Ha, in your face" I say to Tommy as he slouches and crosses his arms trying to fake being mad. "Glad I'm not the only one who thinks his music is boring." I reply as the first song starts to play. "Day dream believer" by the Monkeys.
"Oh my god I love this song" Tubbo says as he turns up the volume, "Sorry Tommy but you're never getting the aux back again." Me, Ellie and Toby all laugh and then start to belt out the lyrics. "CHEER UP, SLEEPY JEAN, OH, WHAT FUN IT IS, TO A, DAYDREAM BELEIVER, AND A HOME COMING QUEEN."
I look over at Tommy to see that his arms were still crossed being stubborn as hell. "Oh, come on Bitch boy, your ruining the mood" I say as he turns his head and glares at me. "I know you want to sing, so just sing."
Tommy doesn't listen to me but the rest of us continue to sing the lyrics until the next chorus. "CHEER UP, SLEEPY JEAN, OH, WHAT FUN IT IS, TO A, DAYDREAM BELEIVER, AND A HOME COMING QUEEN." I start to belt out the lyrics again and then I look over at Tommy. I could tell his lips were moving and his head was bobbing side to side.
"That's the spirit" I say to Tommy and he completely loosens his body and mind. He starts to scream the lyrics louder than the three of us combined. I look at him singing and all I can do is smile. Seeing him happy makes me happy.
The song slowly come to an end and another one starts to play. "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters" by Elton John. "oh, I love this song, turn this shit up" Ellie says and Toby obliges. Only me and Ellie knew this song so we start to sing the lyrics and the boys just hum the music.
"While Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters. Sons of bankers, sons of lawyers. Turn around and say good morning to the night. And unless they see the sky, but they can't and that is why, they know not if it's dark outside or light."
Me and Ellie are singing the chorus and everyone starts to sway side to side to the music. Tommy turns to look at me and I smile back at him. He holds his hand out and I take it, Intertwining our fingers.
I look down at the hand and I feel something in my stomach I had never felt before. I felt like my heart had skipped a beat and my stomach was churning. What was this feeling and why was I feeling it?
