Chapter 30: Pineapple?

Tommy pov

I walk up to Toby who was sitting all alone on his phone. "Where are the girls?" I ask. "they went to the bathroom," he relies as he puts his phone in his pocket. "So, I saw you and Y/N, holding hands" he says with a wink, "Did you tell her?"

"No, I couldn't get up the courage to tell her." I respond with a little slouch. "She just looked too perfect. Plus, there's no way she'll like me." "Well if you don't confess, then you'll never know." Tubbo tells me. "I just don't want to ruin our friendship. What happens if I tell her I have feelings for her and she doesn't. things will get awkward."

I look over towards the bathrooms and I can see Y/N and Ellie coming back. She looks at me and I smile to her. She is absolutely beautiful and I want to tell her really bad. Shit, this is going to be hard.

Y/N pov

We walk up to the boys and they are smiling at us. "Where we going next?" I ask. "I'm hungry" Ellie chimes in. "Let's go get some food then" Toby replies, "What does everyone want?" "MCDONALDS!" tommy shouts.

"No, Tommy" I whine, "We always get McDonalds. Can we get something else?" "Ya, I don't want McDonalds" Toby and Ellie say at the exact same time. "Fine, then you come up with something." Tommy says crossing his arms.

"We should go get pizza" Ellie blurts out. "OH, that sounds good." I reply. "Let's get going then" Tubbo says as he swings his keys around on his finger. We all walk out of the building and towards the car. "Shotgun" Ellie shouts and run to the car and I knew exactly what she was trying to do.

"That's not fair, big men get to sit in the front" Tommy says looking at Tubbo. "Sorry Tommy, she called shotgun fair and square." Toby says as he runs after Ellie leaving me and Tommy alone. We start to walk towards the car "Is it really that bad to sit by me?" I say elbowing his arm.

"yes, it is" he says and I look at him with an offended face. "You take up all the leg room and always fall asleep on me." "hey" I say punching his arm, "It's not my fault you're so comfortable." After I say this, I immediately regret it. My face turns bright red and I put my head down.

We reach the car and Tommy opens the door, "Ladies first" he says and he bows. "You're such a bitch" I say as I get in the car and scoot down the bench seat, tommy getting in after me. Once he gets in, I put my feet on his lap. "What the fuck?" he says as he pushes my legs off his lap.

"You said I took up all the leg room, now I'm not taking any." I reply and put my feet back on his lap and he rolls his eyes but doesn't move my feet. I look up at Ellie and she was giving me a look that seemed to say 'suuuuure, just friends.' I shake my head slightly and she turns away from me.

"Can I get the aux" I say holding my hand out to Toby. "Nope, I get it this time" Ellie says smirking to me. She plugs her phone in and starts to play some soft music, but I didn't listen to it, my mind was listening to Tommy and only him.

The whole way to the pizza place, I was laughing at his stupid jokes, watching the way his blue eyes sparkle, listening to his really cute laugh, and trying to get rid of the butterflies I had in my stomach.

We all enter the pizza parlor, and order our personal pizzas one by one. We all sit down at a table and wait for them to bring our food out. "What did you get?" I ask Tommy, "Cheese" he replies. "Wow, you're so boring."

"Oh really, what did you get then?" he asks. "Literally everything" I tell him, "Everything except pineapple and any sort of fish" I tell him. "Well that makes sense, who would eat pineapple on pizza?" "That bitch" I say pointing to Ellie who is sitting next to me. "What" she says sounding offended. "It's good." "No, it's not," me and Tommy say at the exact same time.

"I think pineapple on pizza is good." Toby chimes in. "Shut up Tubbo" Tommy tells him and a waiter, who seemed to be about our age, brings out our food. We all start to eat our pizzas while still talking and laughing with one another.

I pick up another piece of pizza to eat, when I see a little paper that was hiding under it. I set my pizza down and open the paper. On the paper, there was a number, and a note that says "Call me 😉" I look around and I see a guy staring at me. It was the waiter that brought us our food. He winked at me.

I turn around and see that Tommy and Ellie were both reading the note. "Are you going to call him?" Tommy asked looking a little sad and protective. "Ummm," I think for a moment before I speak, "No, I'm not looking for a boyfriend right now."

I stand up and walk towards the trashcan. I throw it away and then look at the waiter who was frowning. Then I look at Tommy who seemed to be both happy and sad.

We all finish eating and hop in the car. The whole drive home felt so good. Good to be with my Best friend Ellie, my new friend Toby, and Tommy, the one I was hoping wouldn't be my friend for much longer.
