Part 17: The Arrest

Y/N pov

"wanna come on set today?" jaden asks me "i don't know jae, i don't really wanna see him" and he sighs "i know, buttt he's going to be arrested today and maybe they'll take him while we're on set" and i shrug "i don't know" and he walks over and wraps his arms around me "i promise i won't leave your side this time, and you'll be around a big group of people. he won't hurt you again" he says and i nod "okay" i say. his hugs always make me feel so safe. i feel like i'm a queen, and he's my king while i'm embraced in his arms.

he takes me out to his car and i get in the passenger seat and get a text from wyatt

wyatt- where are you going
me- jaedens taking me on set, i'll meet you there
wyatt- why cant you just come with us?
me- because he offered, and he was about to leave i didn't want to wait for you to get your hair perfect even though they're gonna change it on set anyways
wyatt- i hate you
me- yeah yeah whatever

we continue driving and jaeden looks at me for a second and smiles and turns back to the road "what?" i ask and chuckle "your just so beautiful" he said and i smile "your too much" i say and he chuckles "whatt it's true" he says and i laugh "i never said it wasn't true" i smile and he chuckles "so you agree?" and i nod "yeah i guess i do" and he rolls his eyes and i grab the aux cord "don't play bad music y/n" and i turn towards him "what! i don't play bad music" i say and he turns towards me sarcastically "yes, yes you do" and i widen my eyes "i don't really wanna listen to boy bands" and i laugh "fine" and play music we both enjoy

we pull up on set and walk inside. as we're walking in i wrap my arms around his my grip gets tighter as we get closer and closer to the doors. we walk on the set and immediately we go towards a big group of people so i'm not alone "i'm going to take you into hair and makeup with me so you aren't by yourself" he says and i nod and the director walks over "jaedennn let's get you over to wardrobe, y/n, always lovely to see you" and i smile "good to see you as well" i say and jaden grabs my hand and we walk to wardrobe together. they get him all dressed in his outfit for the scene and they do his hair and makeup and i smile "so handsome" i say once he's all done and he chuckles "mmm yeah okay" he says and laughs and i smile and give him a quick kiss on the lips before he has to go do his scene.

we walk out and i stand with the big group of people and i see sophia run over "y/n hey!" she says and hugs me "hey girlie" and she gets a look on her face "why are you looking at me like that?" and she sighs "is it true?" and i shake my head as in i don't know what she's talking about "is what true?" and she widens herself eyes "people are saying you cheated on jaeden" and my jaw drops "WHAT? NO ITS NOT TRUE" i yell and everyone looks at me "what is the full rumor?" i ask more calm and she sighs "apparently one day during set you two disappeared and well, you know" i start crying "is it true?" she asks me "if you count rape as cheating then yes, it's true" and her face goes pale "what?" and i nod while tears stream down my face but i don't say anything else and she hugs me "i'm so sorry, i shouldn't have asked. it was none of my business in the first place. but if he did that, why are you here today?" and i pull away from the hug "he's getting arrested today" i chuckle slightly  "he deserves it, that's terrible what he did" and i sigh "yeah, it is"

me and sophia are talking more with the group and all of a sudden we hear "QUIET ON SET, ACTORS IN PLACE" and they go to their spots and i watch from behind the camera as they do their magic. a couple minutes in we hear a ruckus and everyone turns and sees the police standing there "FINN WOLFHARD?" and he steps up off set "yeah?" and the cop walks up to him and starts putting him in handcuffs "your being arrested for rape and assault" and i smile. seeing him in handcuffs has never made me happier. i grin watching them take him away but i run up to him "wait, i need to talk to him" i say and the officer nods

"you snitched on me?" and i nod "i mean it's what you deserve, after all you raped me and brushed it off like it was nothing. that is so scarring finn, i can't go anywhere alone now because of you. and now you get to rot in jail which is exactly what you deserve" and he nods "i just have one question" i say to him and he just looks at me "how did you know me and jaeden would be at that restaurant?" "how'd you know i would know at all?" he asks back and i glare "because you walked in, and instantly looked around, almost like you were looking for us" and he chuckles for a second but the cops grab him before he can say anything else and says "okay kid, time to go" the cop says and takes him away. before he can get too far away finn turns and replies to my question.
