part 15: date day

"common let's go out" jaeden says to me through the phone as i'm laying on my bed. "i cant right now jae, everyone's at the hotel" and i hear him sigh "say you hanging out with sophia or something" i sigh at him "your lucky i like you" and i get up from my bed and put in a cute outfit and i keep him on the phone. i put my airpods in so i can hear him but no one else can. i was out of my room "hey i'm going to meet sophia and were going to go around town" and my mom smiles at me "okay honey, stay safe" and i smile and look at wyatt and he's already giving me a glare suspicious of my actions. i shut the hotel door "meet me in the lobby, i'm on my way" and he says "okay sounds good" and hangs up the phone.

i get off the elevator and see him standing there "hey how'd you get here so quickly" and i put my hands on his shoulders and he wraps his hands around my waist and kisses me. "let's go" and i smile and grab his hand and we walk down the street.

"so where are we going?" and he looks at me and smiles "i was thinking of a restaurant for lunch" and i smile back at him "sounds great" and we walk down the street talking and i feel my phone buzz "your with jaeden y/n, not sophia" and i get a look of panic on my face and look back to our hotel on the balcony and see wyatt watching us "shit" i mutter and i text him back "i will do anything you want please don't tell mom and dad" and he takes a second to respond but says "i'll think of something, your safe for now, you better thank me because i still hate you two together" and i put my phone right back in my pocket without answering him.

we walk in the restaurant and sit down and we order our drinks. we talk for a long time and it was very enjoyable, but when i looked up at the door and saw finn my heart stops. "we need to leave" i say to jaeden and he starts to ask why but cuts himself off when he sees finn. finn looks around then spots us and swiftly walks over. "y/n we need to talk" and i stand up "listen finn there is nothing we need to talk about you hear me? your lucky we haven't reported you to the police yet" and jaeden stands up and says "okay it's time to leave" and finn says in return "listen i'm trying to apologize the least you can do is listen" and jaeden looks at him "do you think rape is forgivable? you think hearing you out if what's gonna make her forgive you? if you think that you are sorely mistaken" and finn gets closer like he's about to hit him, jaeden grabs his collar and says "get the hell out" and finn throws a glass on the floor and storms out. "can we get a fucking break around here" and jaeden grabs my hands "everything will be okay, i'll pay for the drinks and we can go somewhere else" and he puts a twenty on the table and we leave.

we walk out the restaurant and i stop and wrap my arms around his waist and he wraps his arms around my shoulders. "it's okay y/n, i promise you it'll be okay" and i pull away for a second and find a bench on the street and sit down and i wrap my arm around his shoulder and he pulls me close "i'm sorry this happened" he says and i say "how did he know we would be there, it's like he knew we would be there and he came in and instantly was looking for where we were sat" and he rubs my shoulder "i don't know, but for now he's gone and we can file a report" and i look him in the eyes "later, i wanna be with you right now" and i smile at him and he kisses me
