part 9: bad news

this morning i woke up again in jaedens room with his right arm around me. i knew i had already been awake earlier but now it's about 2 in the afternoon. "did i really slept in until 2?" i asked. he was already awake on his phone in his left hand and the other wrapped around me. "yep you did" he said giggling. i don't know why but i was so tired and out of it i didn't remember anything from this morning or last night but i do remember talking to him about my dream last night.

"i'm gonna go to the bathroom" i told him "okay" he said. i got out from the covers to go to the bathroom and realized that i didn't have any pants on in the first place. "jaeden what did we do" i said in a curious tone. "we did some things this morning" he said in a deeper voice than usual. "do you really not remember? it was like 2 hours ago but you fell asleep after we were done" i wasn't mad. i was actually really happy! but i was kinda concerned about one thing. "jaeden we did use protect-" he cut me off in the middle of my sentence. "yes yes we did. i got one from my mom and dads room" he said. i sighed with relief. "thank god" i said while walking into the bathroom.

i walked out of the bathroom after doing my business and suddenly remembered everything that happened this morning and how amazing everything was. i got dressed in some extra clothes i grabbed from my hotel while wyatt and my parents were out on set for wyatt's solo scene. i texted sophia

me: SOPHIA
sophiaaa 🤪: Y/N
me: HAS WYATT OR MY PARENTS TEXT YOU OR YOUR PARENTS YET
sophiaaa 🤪: NO NOT YET WHY
me: GOOD
me: IF WYATT TEXTS YOU IVE BEEN AT YOUR HOTEL ROOM ALL DAY AND SLEPT OVER LAST NIGHT
sophia 🤪: yea sure i'll tell my parents to do the same but like, where have you been all night and morning?
sophia 🤪: you've been with jaeden all day haven't you
sophia 🤪: AND YOU STAYED IN HIS HOTEL ROOM
sophia 🤪: WHAT DID HIS PARENTS SAY WHEN THEY FOUND OUT YOU STAYED OVER
me: wellll they don't know i'm here because i've been in his room all day and we've been quiet so please please PLEASEEE lie for meeee!!!!
me: i left a note on the door saying i've been with you all day but idk if they saw it because wyatt has been on set all day and my dad would've just gone to pick him up.
me: i just neeeeed you to do this for me.
sophia 🤪: okay okay i got your back girlie
me: thank you soooo much!!!
sophia 🤪: so how was it
me: WHAT
sophia 🤪: i'm sorrry i'm your best friend i need to ask these things!!
me: oh my god
sophia 🤪: i bet you were screaming that wernt you
me: SOPHIA
me: OH MY GOD
sophia 🤪: okay okay i'm sorry i'm seriously done now
me: THANK YOU

after that, i didn't talk to sophia the rest of the night. i told jaeden i should be going back home before my brother and dad get back. my mom met a few friends at a bar one night and she's out with them so i'd be home alone. "y/nnn are you sure you don't want me to come with you?" "no jaedennn if wyatt sees me walking with you he might beat you up" "fine" he said defeated. i gave him a peck on his soft, pink lips and told him bye. i walked back to my hotel room and as soon as i got back i sat in my living area and was texting jaeden.

after about an hour or two of watching re-runs of friends on tv i got a call from an unknown number "hello?" i said "yea, this is y/n....... i'm sorry what?......... oh my god....... okay thank you for telling me" i hung up the phone and tears started streaming down my face uncontrollably. as soon as i hung up the phone i called jaeden with tears running down my face. "jaeden" i said in the softest voice ever. "yes y/n? why are you crying?" "come over" i said with tears streaming down my face like a stream after a downpour. "of course" he replied softly.
