"MOM!"
"MOMMMM......?!" I shouted.

"fizz...." she called. I heaved a sigh of relief.
"fi-ZZY........!" she screamed. Instantly panic rushed over me. I took to the stairs two at a time and stopped by my parents bedroom and literally flew inside.

"MO-....what happened?" I asked after seeing her sat up on bed with an unidentifiable expression on her face. Was it panic? or excitement? happiness? shock? I couldn't pinpoint it.

"fizz.....Call your father." she said, despite her expression, her words were calm and patient.
"I think my water broke!". Then it dawned on me. And before I could think twice, it had slipped of my mouth.
"WHAT?!" I gasped.
"Call your father!" she repeated, with a smile on her face.

The next thing I knew, I was running down the stairs saying "Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!" and burst out through the back door. My father was cleaning the garage. It was his day-off so he was home.
"DADDD......" I called.
"What is it fizz?
"It's mom....." I trailed off.
Dad immediately knew what it was. And his reaction was quite similar to mine. If it was any other time than this, I would've laughed at him.
My mom was 9 months pregnant, which meant that my soon-to-be-youngest brother was on his way!

I picked up Jay who was playing with his stuffed dolphin (Jay short for Jayden, is my 3 year old brother) and ran back into the house along with my father. I picked up the small duffel bag and began stuffing extra clothes for my mom, the baby and also the baby necessities we had bought beforehand.
Meanwhile, Dad had rushed to mom and had brought her down to the car carefully.

By the time I was in the car, dad was locking up the house as fast as he could. I got in the passenger seat in the front along with Jay and fasten the seatbelt around both of us.
"Fizzy......? Why are we in a hurry?" Jay asked opening his light brown eyes wide. I smiled.
"Your little brother decided to arrive today." I said.
"Really!" he gasped and widened his eyes and turned his head to look at mom who was sprawled in the backseat.
"Yes, really!" I replied. "Now be a good boy and be patient. Okay?"
"Ok!" he replied, excitement evident in his voice.
Dad came in, got into the driver's seat and pulled out of the driveway.
The roads at this time of the day in the suburbs were deserted. About halfway towards the hospital, we heard a sudden screech making us jump and making mom groan.
Then suddenly......BANG!
