It was the next day and we've been chilling the whole day. It was a really sunny day. The windows were open and the sun was shining through.
" y/n you wanna come with skye, Marvin and i to the Waffle House " Mama Williams says
" no I'm fine I have to be somewhere soon " I say from the living room
" alright just tell Mikey we left " she says while they all walk out the door
I gave her a goodbye before they walked out the door.
I was just scrolling threw Pinterst on my phone looking at some boards when Mikey came downstairs.
" where's everyone " he asks limping around
" Waffle House " I say still looking at my phone
" why didn't you go " he says from the kitchen
" plans " I say finally looking from my phone to see that he was limping around
" what's wrong with you " I say walking up to him
" I don't know my leg been hurting a lil since this morning " he says
" so does this hurt " I say kicking him in the leg but not to hard
He looks at me dumbly . I just laughed.
" take a day off plus you're always working out " I say
The house bell rang.
" One day wont hurt right " I say while going to open the door
It was Scoot.
" hey " he says with a beautiful smile
" hi " I say with a cheesy smile
At that moment Mikey had come from behind.
" wasup bro " Mikey says dapping him up
" You can come in " he says
" actually were just gonna go " I say quickly taking scoots hand and running away laughing
" bye mikey " I added with a big smile
he just gave a weak smile.
Me and Scoot were just walking to the park talking about random things and laughing. while we were together we played basketball when we got to the park then hours later we went to get Ice cream.
3:50pm we were eating ice cream and when we were done he took me back to mikeys house.
" I had a really good time today " I say giving him a hug then letting go
" next time " he says with a smile
" next time, bye " say smiling then going inside
he waved bye then left.
I closed the door and gave myself a happy smile.
" he made you that happy " mikey says going to the backyard
" I just had a great time " I say chuckling
he just noddes.
" so you've just been here home yourself " I ask.
" yep " he says getting in a hammock.
I join him.
" nooooo get out theirs only space for one person " he says trying to take me out but I wouldn't budge.
He sighed and turned his head to me.
" so how was your date? " he asked.
" it wasn't a date " I replied " it was simply a little day of hanging out together " I say trying to think of words.
" so a date " he says again.
I just rolled my eyes.
Their was a comfortable moment of silence till he spoke again.
" we were best friends you know " he says softly.
I snickered then said " we still are, what are you talking about "
" you don't trust me anymore ... like I know you trust me but you don't ... you know? " he says sounding passionate.
" what are you talking about? What's gotten into you " I say laughing and getting out the hammock.
" lets go inside I think the air out here is toxic to you " I say going inside still laughing.
