I've been trying to avoid Mikey a little ever since the kiss because I didn't know how I felt and how he felt.
I've been keeping myself company with a lot of people to avoid only it being us two.
Scoot had his birthday party at a beach house in the hills today and told everyone he knew to slide.
10:30pm
" come on y/n we're already super late for the party everyone else is already their " Kennedy yells at me to hurry.
I honestly didn't want to go to this party because of my head hurting but I didn't want to disappoint scoot.
" alright I'm coming " I say putting the last touch of lip gloss on.
I leave the room and walk down stairs.
" okayyy " all the girls say In unison.
" scoot finna have a ball tonight " Monroe says while spinning me around.
" this isn't for him it's for me " I say rolling my eyes.
" mhm " they say as we all walked out the door.
We all got into the car and drove to the party.
we blasted Comfortable by K Camp while driving to the party.
we were screaming the at lyrics at this point.
" you got a thang for a nigga I can see it in your eyes " they scream specificity at me.
I just laugh and rolled my eyes.
Shortly after we arrived at the party.
It was packed and you can hear the music from outside the house with people outside the house and inside.
" dang everyone and they mama here " skye says as we started to leave the car.
As we got out and This is how we do it by Montell started playing.
As we left the car we caught a few stares.
" welp guys I guess I'm gonna leave with a hunny today " Athena says walking towards a tall darkskin that was looking our way.
" that's my cue to dip " skye says walking into the party ahead of us.
Kennedy, Monroe and I just laughed.
We started walking inside the house and the music got louder and more people started appearing.
While walking inside I caught Mikey with a group of his friends staring at me.
I held a few seconds gaze with them and went directly into the party.
by then Donk by Soulja Boy started playing.
at this point the atmosphere got really hype and every girl started doing their thing.
Kennedy got my hand and brought me to the middle of the crowd.
Without knowing who I was throwing it back on I just got lit and all I saw was cameras recording and people getting hype.
I got tired and immediately got up and left the scene without looking back.
I went outside by the pool and got lit with some of Athena's friends for a while.
I tried and went upstairs where a few people were to sit down a little since my head started hurting a lot more.
I went into a room and went onto a balcony and just stared at the night view and the intense music by waka flocka in the background.
I thought I'd escape everyone til I heard the room door open.
I looked back and saw Mikey.
" you stalking me ? " I say as a joke to make the last time we last encountered each other less awkward.
" I just wanna talk to you " he says getting closer to me.
I step back a little.
He took that as a sign and stopped where he was.
" sorry " he said plainly.
" for what " I say knowing exactly why he was saying it but I just wanted to hear him.
He took a deep sigh.
" The kiss " he said looking at me and stepping closer.
" I'm also sorry for being a bad friend, a bad person to you when you need advice, words of assurance and being a bad person when you needed me overall with the Bryce situation " he says looking at me.
He then gave me a hug.
" So you didn't want to kiss me? " I asked out of nowhere.
He didn't say anything and just stayed in the hug assuming he didn't want to make things awkward again.
I shook out of the hug and looked at him.
" I did, that why I did it " he says still looking into my eyes.
The eye connection didn't break till we started to lean closer once again.
In no time our lips touched once again. It started out with a small peck but slowly got more heated til we heard someone walk in.
scoot.
I broke away from Mikey quickly.
" Um my bad I didn't mean to interrupt " he says and walked away slowly.
I just stood there and thought to myself . . . what did I just do.
Mikey held my hand and wanted to go back into the moment but I calmly denied.
