It been a week, Mikey and I have been getting a lot closer then I'd imagine.
I was currently with Mikey and skye walking to the basketball court near the house.
Surprisingly it was packed with our friends and other people.
" what's up y'all " Mikey says dapping his friends up but Bryce gave him a cold shoulder but he ignored it feeling like he probably just had a bad day.
" can I join the game real quick " Mikey asked getting on the court.
" naw " Bryce said harshly.
Ignoring what was happening Skye and I went to the swings near by to just chill.
" what's his problem " skye asked.
" who, Bryce ? " I say. She nodded.
I shrugged " I don't know, I don't keep up with that man. he's the least of my problems now "
" mmm the least of your problems you say " skye said in a oh really way.
on that note we heard yelling from the basketball court so we walked over since we couldn't make out the voices.
" yo chill " someone said holding Mikey back.
" how you gon go behind my back and kiss my girl after all the shit we've been through bro " Bryce says with his fists balled up.
at that point I knew what was going on. Scott told Bryce what happened.
" your girl? with the shit you be doing? that's not ya girl " Mikey say trying to move the people holding him back.
" she still be texting me and calling me though, that speaks a lot dont it " Bryce says.
Mikey looks at me, he then moved the boys to let him go.
" let's go bro " Mikey says with anger.
Skye followed Mikey while I stayed behind a little.
" really? you know why I called you those days and it wasn't because I missed or anything it was because I wanted to be a good FRIEND and be there for you while everything was going downhill for you even though you treated me like a worthless dime Bryce " I say while my eyes started getting watery but I didn't cry.
" how did it take me this long to realize how selfish you are? Wow " I added.
At that moment the crowed left and I followed Mikey and skye shortly.
We got to the house and the silence was awkward.
Skye went up to her room and Mikey did the same leaving me downstairs by myself.
I took a breather and went to Mikey's room and knocked.
I knocked again with no reply from the other side meaning he didn't want to be bothered.
I took that as a sign and left.
I went back outside and took a walk to clear my mind.
I put my music in making my sadness and anger slowly go away.
hours went by and it started getting really dark.
I got a call from skye asking where I was so I told her I was on my way back to her house.
I got there and it was still only skye and Mikey.
They were in the kitchen just talking but when I walked in mikey went straight upstairs to him room.
I took off my shoes and belongings and put them by the door and greeted skye.
" he's still mad ? " I asked walking over to her.
" I wouldn't say mad but you should go talk to him " she says.
I took a deep breath and did as she said. I walked up the stairs slowly feeling like I was a burden.
I knocked on his door once again but no answer, I was about to leave when the door open.
I walked in and the door closed behind me. His room was dark but no to where you can't see anything but to where the street lights was the only source of light that was giving the room little to no light.
" it's dark in here " I say turning around.
he doesn't say anything and goes past me to his bed and just lays on it while on his phone.
" are you gonna say anything " I asked but again no reply.
I stood there in silence.
I went near him and sat next to him while looking at him but he wouldn't make eye contact like he usually does.
I started caressing his hair and playing with it while he still scrolled through his phone.
A few minutes passed by and he leaned his head closer into my lap.
" you care to much " he says still scrolling.
" blessing and a curse I guess " I say softly still playing with his hair.
he got up and started putting on his shoes.
" come on " he says leaving the room.
I followed while getting easy shoes to slide on which were just slides I saw in his room.
By the time I slid them on he was already downstairs.
" come on skye " he added. She raised a eyebrow.
I just shrugged.
Mikey turned the house lights off and initiated us to get out so he can lock the door.
I walked and waited for both of them.
They later came out and we all got in Mikey's car pulling off.
