Weeks have passed with me at the Williams house.
I slowly started to convince myself that's id be spending half of my summer with them.
A couple of Mikey's friend, skyes friends and I were in the jacuzzi after just coming from the beach.
The atmosphere was fun and loud.
" yo y/n say hi to the live " scoot says giving me his phone.
I take it and posed " wasup live it's the baddest y/n " I say just joking.
" she ain't lying " he says taking back his phone.
I lightly pushed him because of his comment.
I saw Mikey in the corner of my eye just staring I just brushed him off.
Music started playing and everyone started singing along loudly.
I took a towel and went outside in the front yard and just sat by the door step.
I sat in silence til I heard someone sit next to me.
Not surprised at all it's Mikey.
" how are you holding up " he asks.
I looked at him confused.
" I guess I'm the only one that noticed you been lonely " he says.
" lonely? I'm around people all the time Mikey " I chuckled trying to hide my feelings.
He just stares at me.
" that doesn't change that you call your mom and brother like every day y/n but they never pick up. I don't want you to feel like you're alone while you're going through life that's all " he says still looking at me.
I just stupidly stare at the ground not knowing what to say.
He could read me like a book.
" I've known you since forever y/n .. you can't fool me. It's okay to say you're scared " he says slowly holding my hand.
