-False Escape-
In silence I laid... In isolation and confined within this small space. This small space, trying to keep all this anguish and negative energy contained. A dark room, so empty that the vacuum forced 'something' to fill it, anything and everything, even that what wasn't physical. A quiet place, so quiet that something had to fill it, that any form of vibration or form of frequency, whether soundwave or not, became so loud, and so intense, it bounced around between these four walls, unable to escape, in an infinite feedback loop, crashing into one another like water waves inside a cube being shaken, until it drowned out everything, and anyone within it, until it drowned... me.
I was laying on that bed, surrounded by emptiness. I was so drained; as if the vacuum had pulled out everything inside me. I slowly raised my demon arm up in front of me to look at it. It seemed as if the blue substance inside it had a hard time staying inside it, as it moved around almost like a liquid in zero-gravity, escaping out the hole in my palm and the cracks of my arm. I felt almost disconnected from my body, as if I could no longer fully direct it, as if the signals from my nerve-system to my muscles weren't strong enough. I was so tired, so fatigued. But at the same time, I was so restless...
It felt like something was creeping around all over me, like centipedes were crawling around under my skin and maggots were moving around in my intestines. I felt like something was scratching the inside walls of my skull trying to break free. Everything was uncomfortable. Everything felt itchy and weary. I clenched my teeth as a turned around on the bed while digging my fingers into my shoulder and waist and dragged them across my body, until I ended up just pushing my hands against the sides of my head while scratching my scalp, turning around, and kicking with my legs.
Eventually, I just gave up and relaxed my body as every limb fell down to my sides and sunk down into the musty mattress. I laid there staring up into the almost void-black ceiling. I closed my eyes.
Suddenly, I had this strange uncanny feeling that something was watching me. I opened my eyes again. There was still just a black emptiness, but then I saw something in my periphery, when I suddenly realized; something was sitting at the edge of my bed staring at me.
"Aarh!" I yelled as I pushed myself back the opposite way as my arms and legs spasmed in a panicky manner until I was sitting up in the bed with my back pushed against the wall.
A dark figure was sitting in a squat with its arms between its legs, holding on to the baseboard of the bedframe. It was of a humanoid configuration and what looked like two furry horns sticking out the side of its head, and it was staring at me with two pure white holes for eyes and a wide inscrutable smile. I realized; it was Djinn.
"Whoaa!? Wha! What's going on!? How did you get in here?!" I stuttered surprised and startled.
"Hahahaha! Why well, through the entrance of course!" He responded happily.
I stared at him, confused and afraid. I was still very scared of this mad little character as even though he never behaved aggressively or threatening, there was just something so off about him, an uncanny mismatch between his friendly, playful, and happy personality along with his wicked and sinister appearance.
"You ask that as if getting in here was to be some kind of difficulty. You know, it's not like you can't go through a door just because you don't knock first, that's just a rule, not an actual physical barrier... This place has entrances everywhere! Besides, even if there weren't, even if every door was locked and nailed shut and every window was barricaded, I'd still find my way in. There is no crack small enough that I cannot squeeze through." He said with his joyful tone.
I sat still examining him with skepticism. There was a short pause.
"Whua, how did you find me?" I said almost as if to distract him with questions, in the belief that unless he was occupied with something, he would proceed to eat my face off.
