They baked the rest of the batches pretty quickly, and with each tray Alex's cookies got a little less deformed. By the last batch, they pretty much looked like normal cookies! They walked over to Ren's place by walking through the thick jungle where very little snow hit the ground since the majority of it was piling on the trees.

Stress tugged at a vine and snow fell off one of the trees, landing on the two of them and dusting her hair with snow.

Since it was daytime and there were no mobs out, they could peacefully enjoy a walk through the winter wonderland. Alex kept grabbing the icelices and throwing them like knives at trees, while Stress tried to catch the little of the snowflakes that came through the trees onto her tongue, and tugged at more vines along the way. Two opposite personalities enjoying each other's company.

They saw the black sand mostly covered in snow well before they actually hit it, since it stuck out so much with all the white scenery. Luckily Ren was just placing some more sand so they could just walk over and say hi, and the cookies would still be warm when he got them.

"Ello Ren!" Stress waved as she walked towards his humongous base. She saw Ren in a big red sweater and green sunglasses instead of the blue ones he'd kept on since the button game. She assumed he probably had every color, ready for any occasion.

"Oh hi-ya Stressy!" Ren peered behind her and saw a tall red figure. "Who's your friend?"

"This is Alex, he helped me bake these cookies for ya!" Stress steeped to the side so Alex could be seen better, who immediately wanted to hide behind her again. Stress handed Ren the basket full of still warm cookies with outstretched arms, to which he accepted gladly.

"Oh! Thanks so much! Nice to meet you dude." Ren gave him a fist bump before Alex even knew what was going on.

"Nice to meet you too!" Alex said with a tad bit more confidence towards meeting new people.

Ren grabbed a cookie from the basket and took a bite.

"These are fantastic dudes! Thank you both so much!"

"No problem luv! Happy holidays!"

"You two coming to the holiday thing later this week? It's sorta in the forest, I dunno if word's got out yet."

"Oh I didn't know we were doing something?" Stress said in a questioning tone.

"Yeah it's real new news. I don't even think the Hermitian Herald has announced it yet. I was helping X set up some of the small stuff." He shrugged.

Alex looked down at the snow, and put on an expression as blank as the untouched snow piling on the black sand.

"Yeah we'll see if we can make it, first we need to finish up the cookies for everyone though." She smiled.

"Well thanks again Alex and Stressy, see ya later!"

"Bye!" Stress said.

"Bye." Alex said.

Stress noticed his glum expression. "We have one more delivery before your debt is paid." She smiled calmly. He perked up a little, and tried to focus on the cookies instead. It was nice to hang out with Stressmonster, one of the first friends he had, and so he ignored the idea of a holiday thing with everyone, that he knew he couldn't go to.
