Stella had woken up to go and collect the other two girls for early morning practice, it was a couple of days before school started and the coach was obsessed with getting the team ahead of the game. She arrived on time for Charlie, she was already waiting at the door, next was Aria who was no where near ready as per usual. The pair hopped out of the car and walked into the apartment complex.
"Hey I'm Miguel" the pair scoffed as a boy tried to talk to Johnny, he was more grumpy than usual this morning if that could be possible. "Wouldn't even try to make friends with him" Charlie said smiling at the boy "Im Charlie and this Is Stella, nice to meet you" she held out her hand for the boy to shake. "Hi im Miguel" he responded looking at the pair. "Im Coming I'm coming stop ringing me stels" Aria said hurling herself out of the door, nearly falling down the stairs. The three of them laughed as the redhead caught herself on the bottom step before blowing the hair from her face "Oh you must be the new people from below me, I'm Aria Jones" she said giving a small wave, still flustered from nearly falling down the stairs moments ago, she reached in her bag and handed a box full of cakes "My mum made you these" she knelt down to tie her laces. "Well it was nice to meet you, we've got to be off. Coach will kick out asses if were late for practice. See you around" Stella said helping Aria to her feet before walking away
"Well he seemed nice" Charlie stated before hopping in the car. The trio drove to the school singing along to whatever songs they felt fitted the mood. Once they got to school Charlie ran ahead to drop off her brothers water bottle he had forgotten this morning. "So, new boy in the apartment complex, lucky you" Stella joked with Aria, she blushed "Well it wasn't exactly the greatest first impression was it, I quite literally threw myself at him" Stella snorted and cursed mentally at the hideous sound. "That was attractive" Charlie giggled returning from the gym. "Yeah yeah whatever. Come on" they ran into he changing rooms and got dressed into their uniforms. "Oh look, Arias barely fits her anymore. Surprise surprise" Aria quickly threw her jumper over her head before turning round to see who had spoken about her like that. "Yasmine, remove yourself before I rip those pigtails out of your head" Charlie stepped towards her, yasmine quickly left before anything could happen. "She's right guys" Aria said quietly trying not to cry. "A, don't be stupid, the uniform fits you just fine. She's jealous that you've spent more time with her ex than she did".
It was true, AJ had dated Yasmine a little last year before he heard all the things she had to say about everyone, when he dumped her Aria was next to him for moral support. Since then Yasmine had a hatred for the girl. Practice wasn't anything too difficult for the girls, Charlie missing Yasmine and letting her fall to the ground Was the highlight of the the girls morning. Coach not assuming that it was on purpose let her get away with it. They started their cool down run as the wrestling boys did the same
"Jacob! AJ! Over here" Aria yelled at the two boys, they smiled before joining the group. "So, how was it" AJ asked them "Yasmine chose to say some Nasty shit and Charlie dropped her" Stella laughed remembering her face when she hit the floor. "Not again, I would've thought she had gotten over it by now" Aj sent a comforting look over to Aria before going back to his stretches. "She's just jealous A spends more time with you than she did" Jacob said smugly, the pair had been into one another for a while now, just none the wiser about the others feelings. "Charlie said the same" Aria blushed, trying to avoid eye contact. They jogged round the pitch one last time before collecting their stuff from the changing rooms. They left for the cars and agreed to meet at the usual place at about 6, that left them a couple hours to get changed and chill out.
