"You're still into photography then" Milo asked walking into the kitchen, Stella had her laptop out editing her photos, she nodded concentrating. "Did you apply to the NY Competition?", that broke her silence, she looked up and smiled brightly "Yeah, I actually got an email last night, I got through to the semifinals" she said proudly. "What photo did you send in", Stella showed him the one she had taken of Charlie months ago. "I love it, you should take some of me. I'm defo a competition winner. Look at my cheekbones" He pouted and pointed towards them. Stella giggled before finishing up her posts. "You know, I think your boyfriend hates me" he admitted "Technically not boyfriend but yeah, I think he does. You could try not being a wind up merchant all the time" Stella told him honestly, she wanted them to get along.
"Morning" Eli had heard part of the conversation and had decided now would be a good time to enter, "Did we wake you?" Milo asked, not really caring "No, Stella wasn't in bed so I couldn't get back to sleep", he took a seat next to her and put his head on her shoulder. "So, when do you hear if you've won?" Milo continued, "I think next week, if I do I have the opportunity to go to a camp", "Wait? I though you said you hadn't heard from them" Eli asked, he was slightly mad Milo knew more about this than he did. "I got an email saying I got through" she shrugged like it was nothing, Eli was beaming, he picked her up and spun her around "This is cause for celebration" he kissed her and ran upstairs to get ready. "I guess i'll see you later then, I was going to go and meet the boys anyway" Milo parted, Stella felt bad for leaving him out, but she didn't want to piss Eli off by inviting him. Plus she liked being alone with him much more than milo.
"Where are we going?" She asked once she had gotten to her room, she put her laptop on charge and started looking through her clothes "Picnic in the park before practice?" He asked her timidly, he wasn't too sure what she would class as a celebration. "That sounds great" she smiled, Stella went to have a shower before coming back out, Eli having to go in to sort out his hair, "You know, I like you're hair down" she said though try door, "Its fine when its just us, but I can't go back to that just yet in public" Stella didn't mind, she liked how honest he was with her. She pulled out a jumper and leggings before sorting her hair out, she needed to be able to go straight to training so did bother with makeup. Eli walked out with a towel round his waist and his hair in its usual spike form, she loved his back tattoo now it had grown on her. "Take a picture, it'll last longer" he joked, Stella however did just that.
After they had gotten ready, Stella drove them to the park, Eli pulled out the bag of food just as it started raining. "Oh for gods sake" he hissed, climbing back into the passenger seat. "Could always collapse the back seats?" Stella suggested, Eli nodded and helped her. The park was now empty, they were watching the raindrops hit the boot and ate their food, Eli was tracing Stella's body with his fingertips, stopping every now and then to feed her something else. "Why are you always ready to go" Stella laughed looking down at Elis trousers. "Hey!, i've been waiting for you to like me back since I was 11. Thats a lot of thoughts and a lot of teenage hormones", "Doesn't mean we have to do something though" he added not wanting to put Stella under any pressure. They cuddled fora while, Stella showing him the email she had gotten and the new pictures she had edited. "I enjoyed that" Stella told him once they had sorted the seats out, "I'm glad".
