Dinner and Ice cream

Eli came to Stellas at about half four so he could prep for dinner, she watched him cook and smiled, when it was just them he did really seem like her Eli again "Taste" he said shoving the spoon in her face, he was cooking Vodka pasta and that meant Stella could drink the rest. "Surprisingly that's good" she told him, she wasn't sure how vodka was supposed to taste nice with pasta but sure enough it did. "What are we having" Milo asked, coming downstairs. "Pasta" Eli told him, fake smile beaming across his face. "My boys are finally getting along" Stella smiled happily, pouring herself a drink.

"Don't you think you've drink enough this week?" Milo looked at her cup "Milo my dear friend, I can handle my alcohol. And to get through this night. Ima need all I can get" she told him, "Right, i'll be back in half an hour. I'm going on a run" Milo said walking out the door. 

"Okay, it needs to bake for a while" Eli said grating some cheese on top, he knew Stella would complain unless he did. "We can watch a film?" She suggested and he nodded. The two sat at opposite ends of the sofa for the first ten minutes, sending the occasional glance at each-other. "Are you going to cuddle me or not" Stella said to him, he moved over quickly so he could hold her. "Ive missed being close to you" Eli said stroking her hair "Well maybe if you weren't such a dick we would have done this more often", "Okay, I deserved that".

Milo came back and showered before sitting at the island, they all ate and drank, Milo even thanked Eli for dinner. Stella was impressed at how Eli held his tongue for the night. She thought maybe he did realise how much he had messed up. "Im gonna head upstairs" Milo told them "Shout me if I'm needed" he told Stella directly, Eli was clenching his jaw so he didn't say anything. "Night" 

"So, i've thought a lot about what you said, Yes I have been acting differently. But Stella, The old me was bullied, I hated myself, I didn't want to live like that anymore" Eli started "The way I am now gives me confidence, I like myself like this. But I understand that sometimes I go too far. I owe Cobra Kai my life! It saved me from myself, Johnny especially and Now Kreese" he looked at her as she processed what he had said. "I understand Eel, You just need to stop seeing red all the time". Eli pulled her in close and hugged her. "Stay round?" She said before kissing him, she had to admit she had missed him a lot, especially in the mornings.

"Do you want to go and get ice cream?" She asked as they broke apart, he was smiling about what had just happened, "Yes". The pair drove to the shop as Eli was in control of the music, he started skipping songs until Stella screamed at him "GO BACK", he looked worried but did just that. "What kind of fuckery is this" Stella sang along, Eli smiled. His mum had shown Amy Winehouse to Stella When they first met, she gave her a lift home and was blaring her album in the car. Stella instantly fell in love. 

"I have your mum to thank for my love of this woman" she told him, he acted surprised as if he didn't know, She drove me home one night and was playing this album, we were talking about the first time me and you met. I gave you a pencil I'm pretty sure"

Eli couldn't act like he didn't remember anymore "You remember that?", "Yeah, we didn't become friends till like three years later, but I gave you a pencil and you turned round to look at me. I looked at your scar and thought you'd been in a fight or something. It was awesome" she giggled. "I told my mum when I got home that there was this bad ass kid in my class who had a scar from a fight, she just laughed" she said proudly. "Fuck stels your gonna make me tear up" Eli joked, but part of him was serious, he hadn't even thought that maybe she remembered this.

"What do you want?" She asked as they walked into the shop "Im paying Stella so you tell me", "but you bought dinner?". "Stella, in your words 'i've been a dick' the least I could do is dinner and ice cream" he told her. She smiled and held his hand "Strawberry please" he nodded and she went to sit in a booth while she was waiting. Stella watched how he paid for the ice cream and giving them a tip before coming to sit down. "I really have missed you Eel" she told him causing him to blush.

They finished up and took a walk to the park, leaving Stella's car in the carpark. They wondered round, talking about nothing important just enjoying each others company "Oh and there's where Aria threw up after a run" Stella laughed, "Thats where I knocked Bert out" Eli said. "Oh, Where Demitri tried to do the monkey bars to impress Charlie and broke his arm". They both felt comfortable with each other again. They drove home and went upstairs to bed, Stella letting Eli shower to get rid of his Mohawk. He came out of the bathroom in just his boxers "Yep, missed that sight" she smiled, Eli getting into bed with her.

The next morning their alarm went off for practice, Eli tried to get up but Stella was having none of it. "Not today" she told him. "Stels, Johnny will kick our asses", "Not mine, maybe yours" Stella smiled, "Come back to bed Eel, don't leave" she whined. For a moment he considered still going to practice, but with Stella whining like that he couldn't. "Fine" he said getting back in bed, she pulled him into a kiss before getting on top of him. Things getting heated pretty quickly, he stopped before anything else could happen

"Are you sure stels"

"Im sure Eli"

Afterwards the two laid there, thinking about what just happened, "Do you regret it?" She asked him "Definitely not". The two stayed in bed for the rest of the day, they even ordered takeout which Milo had to bring upstairs, Elis faced turned smug when he walked in "So, You two made up then" he asked as he walked over to the bed. "Yes" they said at the same time smiling at each other.
