Two Days Later
Ivan was at first nervous that if he didn't go back soon he'd be in trouble. Only to realize that Vladimir had gained so much control that the government had forgotten him completely.

So now Ivan was able to stay with Matthew and be there to help him heal. However, another problem arose, another conference happened with nobody at Sealand aware of it.
Meanwhile
Kiku walked into the room shaking, immediately earning the concern of Alfred, who ran over to him. They had taken the opportunity of the conference to spend the night in Alfred's hotel room. This was something they did often.

This, however, was about as different from their normal routine as it could get.

America🇺🇸: Kiku! What is it? Are you okay?

Kiku handed him the piece of paper without saying a word. Alfred hesitantly picked it up, his heart sinking as he saw it was as doctor examination results paper. Alfred's eyes then widened as he read the diagnosis, Kiku was sure his glasses were about to fall off.

Alfred looked up at Kiku.

America🇺🇸: Oh, Kiku... Are... Are you okay...?

Kiku nodded.

Japan🇯🇵: I am fine... I don't know why I was surprised when I read this... we haven't been very careful lately...

Alfred looked down, reaching out to touch his partner's face.

America🇺🇸: Well, how else do you feel about this...?

Kiku cracked a small smile, speaking quietly.

Japan🇯🇵: I think... I feel happy... I don't think this is bad news... I am just worried about how everyone else will react if or when we tell them... and... I feel like I'm insulting your states...

Alfred blinked.

America🇺🇸: What...? Kiku, my states don't really have personifications.

Japan🇯🇵: I know, I'm worried that this may be an insult to Hawaii specifically, however... I wonder if they will feel it is too early for you to commit to something risky such as this... with me of all nations...

America🇺🇸: Kiku...

Alfred pulled Kiku into a hug.

America🇺🇸: Don't worry about what my citizens think, as long as we keep our heads down until everything settles, we'll be okay... even if it was leaked, I won't give up on making this work, I love you. I want to be with you no matter what anyone else thinks of it. Especially with this baby on the way. I will do everything I can to make sure nothing happens to either of you. You have my word.

Kiku leaned into the hug.

Japan🇯🇵: You didn't need to make such a big promise. But thank you. I will do my best as well. I love you too.

The two stood comfortably in the hug for a few moments, before Alfred spoke up.

America🇺🇸: So, we'll need to figure out what to do once this kid is born, huh?

Japan nodded with a small smile.

Japan🇯🇵: Yes, that will be very necessary.

France🇫🇷: Alfred?

Alfred turned to see a concerned Francis. It was in the middle of lunch break and it seemed like Francis noticed something concerning.

America🇺🇸: What is it?

France spoke up, glancing around a couple times as he did so.

France🇫🇷: Have you seen you brother? I don't think Matthieu came to the conference today...
