chapter 25

flashback to last week:

jj had just left, the two of you started getting fro work since you still had work. you both threw on your regular work clothes, emily per usual watched you get ready, absolutely infatuated with you. she was so in love, and so were you

"i forgot to thank you-" you began looking at emily she was sat on the bed, you walked towards her and straddled her lap, hooking your arms behind her head

"for what?" she asked puzzled

"for being you" kissing her in between each sentence

"for being my girlfriend" *kiss*

"for loving me" *kiss*

"for existing" *kiss*

you pulled away smiling at her and giggling

"i love you" she whispered

"i love you too" you smiled at her and stood up pulling her up with you

"as much as i want to stay here, with you forever, we have work, and todays important" you said

"ugh don't remind me" she groaned frowning

you both walked down the stairs saying goodbye to sergio and heading to the car, getting in your usual seats and heading to the car

walking in, passing security and getting into to the elevator

she looked at you, her eyes raking up and down your body

"te amo tanto, no puedo esperar a casarme contigo algún día" she said smiling

"listen em, your spanish speaking is sexy don't get me wrong but i hate it" you said giggling

she just grinned at you

the elevator opened and you both walked out and to your desks, realizing the team was already in the round table room, you both quickly headed over taking your seats

"alright, now that were all here we can begin" hotch says standing up "as a few of you already know, a demon of one of our pasts has come back to play"

emily stood up standing and motioned to garcia to switch the slide

"ian doyle." she said glaring at the mugshot projected on the board

"when i was deep undercover, staying in the countryside of france, my mission being to take down the man you see here" she said pointing to the photo "for various reasons, that don't matter at the moment, point being hes resurfaced."

she said sitting back down

you grabbed her hand and squeezed it

you looked at her and mouthed 'its going to be okay' she gave you a small smile and focused back to the front of the room

"as we don't know why hes back, all of you will be under surveillance for your protection, specifically prentiss and y/l/n" hotch said glancing in your direction

after a bit more conversation the team was released to go about their day

the day was uneventful, emily was on edge but other than that a pretty normal day full of paperwork and boredom, finally we were good to go home, emily and you went to the car heading home, both jjst wanting a warm shower and the comfort of each other, you got back to the complex and emily sped to the bathroom turning on the shower. peeling off her clothes and stepping into the shower. you sat in the living room, you had grabbed a book off the coffee table to entertain yourself untill emily was done showering, the book was pretty interesting, after a bit you heard emily walk into the living room, her hair wet, but dressed

"going somewhere?" you asked smiling

"yes actually" she said laughing "meeting a past friend of mine, from when i was undercover" she said sitting down

"oh okay, well stay safe, have fun?" you said giving her a kiss

"i will, i love you" she said standing up and heading towards the door

"i love you too- oh and hey em?" you asked

she stopped and turned around

"yeah?" she asked

"i ment what i said, stay safe, please" you said

"i will. its gonna be okay" she said smiling

"okay, im just- nervous" you said hesitantly

"ill be okay love" she said walking over to give you a kiss, and then heading towards the door

"bye!" you said quickly

"bye princess" she said turning around and smiling

emilys pov:

i walked out of the apartment

"im gonna be fine, its just tsia, youve known her forever" i said under my breath, i got in my car driving to the adress tsia sent to my disposable, it ended up being a parking garage outside of some mall downtown. i drove to the top and parked where she said to meet her, i got out and started walking around, there were a few cars around but not the one tsia said she would be in so i paced around while i waited, something felt off, but i assumed it was just nerves from te whole situation. no- no it wasnt that, something was off, i walked in the direction of the car, just in case, but before i could reach it i felt a grip around my body and a cloth over my mouth. and it all went black

how could i be so stupid?!
