I love her, I truly do. I look through my more intricate belongings to find a small notebook.
It had black imprints of what looked like a tree. I can write in this, express myself.
But of course, Anti would probably take it if he got the chance, so it's best to hide it- so I did.
I have a house, a mansion- we can live there, just the two of us... but we will have to get there.
She needs to learn to behave.
My dear, I have so much for us. We can live a life together, be gracious and give me a chance.
You wake up, feeling lightheaded from the number of tears that have fallen. You immediately knew you needed water, so you got up to go to the kitchen.
You didn't pay any mind to the newly changed countertops- they were much more modern, now black and white marbled.
The floorboards were different, too.
You grab a random mug that was on the counter, filling it with tap water. You hated tap water, but you didn't care. Your mind was foggy, and you needed something quick.
You drank a cup, chugging it down as quick as you can, filling it up again.
You went back to your bedroom, now grabbing your phone. You felt much better now, but still a little lightheaded, and quite sore. You dropped your mug in realization.
This was your chance. You ran to the front door, opening it. The sky, how beautiful it was.
You can, and just kept running. You didn't know where you were going, but you went.
Down the road, there was much more civilization- a store. YES! A store, go in there, tell a staff member- contact the police.
You quickly ran into the store, it was a local grocery store. You entered the store, looking around at all the people grabbing their food.
Near the checkout area- there was a staff member, a girl. She was in her mid 20's and was eyeing you.
"Ma'am? Are you alright?" She asked, tilting her head. You did seem pretty flabbergasted, panicking quite a bit.
"I need help." Was all you could mutter.
"Is someone after you? Do I need to call the police?" She held the checkout phone that looked like a landline.
"Someone is after me." You looked around, trying to see if he was here yet. He wasn't chasing you out of the house- he didn't even make an appearance when you woke up... but he could be here now, and you knew his ways.
She nodded quickly, turning to the phone and picking it up, dialing a series of numbers you couldn't decipher.
You turned around to see the entrance of the store. The atmosphere became a tad bit darker.
He's here.
A man with an all-white suit, an imprint of white flowers-- almost lacelike was in the undercoat of his suit. Although beautiful and confident... He was looking for you. His hands were in his pockets, quite casual-- but his eyes lingered all over the store, trying to find yours.
You ducked under the register, the lady looked down at you with a confused face... Almost disgusted. She was talking on the phone for a second but put it on her shoulder when she looked down at you.
"He's here." You whispered, nudging your head to the man that was at the entrance.
Her eyes widened, somewhat astonished that a handsome man like that would be the cause of all your problems. She nodded, quickly putting back the phone to her ear.
