Its..... quite a breeze, hopefully as expected. The trains are running as normal, no interruptions whatsoever. There are however quite a crowd on the stations as expected since tourists and people travel for the festivals and so on. To be fair, we are also part of those travelers. The train seating is already booked so it would no be a hassle but we would be passing through Tokyo line then to Ueno, we change trains then travel, then drop off near to Karuizawa. Then it will be a walk or a ride to the onsen! It's that simple yet I am nervours.
My train of thought was disrupted when Atsushi is just... overjoyed as he looked through the sceneries ever so slightly changing from the industrial economical areas, to the parts of the country sides, and is slowly approach the busy life style towards the city. The first ride was only about half an hour and we did kind of leaving the areas where there are more festivals, meaning there MIGHT be less people at Tokyo.
"So.. come here often?" Ah yes. Why am I so nervous to start a converstation, WHEN WE LITERALLY SEE EACH OTHER EVERYDAY AT WORK?
"Nope! Never been outside of Yokohama really." Atsushi giggled "Don't feel nervous towards me! I will feel awkward too and that won't go well."
"I mean, it might be weird since we are like, on a date and all?" **Oh God I Said Date He Will Think Its Weird** he thought to himself.
"o-ho... So this is a date then?" Atsushi smiled, trying not to tease the other.
"If you want... its like.. vacation? day off? with.. friends? because it might get stressed at work and all and you may not feel welcomed enough or overwhelemed with the job and so on and y'know.."
"It's a date, just accept it!"
"If you got anything from Dazai, its being a smug little egg"
"Fair enough."
The train passed through the closed city neighborhoods of Tokyo, passing through homes then approaching Chiyoda, a casual nature park in Tokyo where they normally had sakura viewing, boat riding, and a few spots where you generally can walk around and enjoy yourself.
"Wanna go on a date then?" He said, looking out the window, trying to avoid eye contact.
"Aren't we already on a date though?" Atsushi smirked.
"No like, date-date type of date. We are already here so we can atleast walk around the area you know? And you hadn't been here afterall so it might be fun!"
The announcement rang throughout the train carriage rang out, telling that it would be a minute till the stop. Passengers alongside them started to stand up, taking their baggage from the racks above. Some with the occasional shoulder bumping and with the light murrmurr around, waiting for Atsushi's reply.
"How about the baggage?"
"We have baggage lockers, and we can arrive at a latter time since they are expecting us quite late. I might have asked us to be early incase of problems and yknow."
"You totally planned this date."
"Perhaps. I guess that you are in then?
"Are you gonna leave me at the train station if I declined?"
Akutagawa then looked down, almost seemingly with pleading puppy eyes, holding the scarf that the other gave. "I understand if you decline no worries... It might be stressful and on and y'know we might lost track of the time and-" he mumbled on but he was cut off by Atsushi.
"NO NO DON'T BE SAD I WAS JUST JOKING!" He blushed, taking both of his hands to hold the other's. "I mean, I will LOVE TO! I was just kidding of course, as long as I'm with you, I know that I'll be safe."
"Thank goodness.. Shall we get our bags then?"
"Okaaaaaaay!"
They both stood up, giggling at each other, taking their baggage to their hands and waiting for the doors to open. Atsushi placed his bags at a side, then his hand made way into Aku's.
"One, we might get lost. Two, its a date!" Atsushi looked on forward, smiling and not looking to another, trying to hide his flushed face.
Akutagawa squeezed Atsushi's hand lightly, smiling. The doors of the train opening, and they both made their way into the station.
