Tori knew it was going to be a bad day when she woke up. No matter the medical advancements some days just sucked with epilepsy. She woke up to a pounding head, blurred vision and dizziness.

Keeping her eyes closed to try to stave off the nausea as long as possible she reached behind her feeling for Logan. But of course, she had slept in and Logan was already at the gym. She was sure she would find a note saying so on her nightstand if she could open her eyes without getting sick.

The gym was in the building, she just needed to get her phone to call him. Her implant would let him know as it happened but she wanted him here now. If that sounded childish it's because that's how she felt. Children wanted their mother when sick, she wanted her Logan.

Slitting her eye open she carefully reached for her phone hitting the home button twice. "Call Logan." She said slowly as speech was getting harder. It range once...twice, then she heard him. "Hey babe, almost finished I'll grab us some..." his voice helped her calm enough to get a few words out.

"Logan. Hurry." Was all she got out before she was lost to the world.

Logan POV

He answered his phone seeing Queen calling. "Hey babe, almost finished I'll grab us some..." his heart froze at the words that cut him off. "Logan. Hurry." He was off like a shot. There were only two times Tori would call him Logan and he knew the terror in her voice all too well.

His poor baby needed him. As he ran for the stairs, he didn't have patients for the elevator, he pulled up the cameras to see she was already seizing. He quickly started a timer. Making it to the third floor in record time he nearly fumbled his keys as he rushed to get in.

She was at two minutes when he made it to her side. He was glad to see she had been present enough to make sure she was on her side. Keeping his voice low and calm he encouraged her and let her know he was there. At just over three minutes she was finally lacks.

He knew he shouldn't touch her till she recovered enough to know who he was. As bad as the seizure itself was the fear and confusion after was almost worse. "Come on, Queen, open your eyes for me. Come on, show me you're back, baby girl." Her eyes opened slightly a few times before she was able to open them fully.

The lights were off and the curtains still closed since he knew she would be light sensitive when she came back. "There you are." He said smiling. She rubbed her face and looked confused for a few moments. "You know where you are?" He kept her mind working as he spoke quietly.

He saw the recognition enter her eyes. "Home. Logan." She said still slightly slurring. He rubbed her back knowing it was safe now. "That's right, beautiful, you're home and safe." He saw her pale and reached for the waste basket before she even knew to ask. The longer seizures like this tended to make her ill afterward.

"Feel good enough to sit up, baby girl?" He asked seeing her moving more. She nodded carefully, not wanting to move her head too quickly. Knowing she didn't have much muscle control still he lifted her slightly as he sat her against the pillows and headboard.

Once he knew she was settled he knew he needed to get her medicine as soon as possible to keep her from multiples. "I need to get your pills, baby. Relax and I'll be right back." She nodded again still not up to talking.

He quickly grabbed a bottle of water and her pill case. "Alright, be a good girl and take your medicine." He said handing her the pills and opening her water. He was thrilled when she smirked and answered. "Sounds dirty."

His girl was going to be ok.
