The next morning she had no class and was able to lay in bed with her man for a while. His hands running down her back felt amazing. She didn't know what she had done to deserve this man, but she was grateful every day. "Hey, Logan?" She asked looking up to him. "Uh oh, using my name, it must be important." He teased. She smiled and kissed his heart before laying her head back over it.
"Nothing like that. Just, I love you, I'm glad you defaced school property and ran into my class that day." She said with a laugh. "You know, I think that was some of my best work." She could hear the laughter in his voice. She dug a finger in his side making him flinch and grab her hand. "Ok, yes my emotional dove. I love you too." She looked up at him through her lashes. "I'm not that emotional." She argued. "You want me to turn on the soup commercials?" He smirked.
She sighed laying back. "No, but I find it unfair that men don't have to go through this." She huffed turning on her side. He hid his smile, every month she got like this and he found it adorable. He had smartened up a few months ago and made sure he had a reminder in his phone so they had everything she needed. She tended to forget things during the school year. He also made sure she didn't forget to get her birth control shot every year. He considered it part of being a good partner.
"How about you take the day off and I'll grab the heating pad and your chocolate stash?" She nodded pitifully. He made her a cocoon on their large bed. He could barely see her over the blankets and pillows. He set the tv to her talkshows and got dressed quickly. He would be back before lunch, he had gotten a text from Fin saying he needed his help.
"I'm gonna go help Fin, Queen. I'll be back by lunch. I'll bring back some soup for you, huh?" He said giving her a kiss. She smiled and went back to her show. "Have fun, baby." He got in his car and headed over to the campus. Apparently, Fin needed help figuring out where the girl he had seen the night before was. So he got volunteered to help him look. That idiot better be glad he was such a good friend.
They were at the last building and Fin still didn't see anything he remembered. "Excuse me, can I help you?" He heard a voice very similar to his lady love's ask. "No thanks." He said walking after Fin. "Hey!" He heard her come after them.
"Don't leave your number!" He told his mindless friend. "I'm not leaving my number, I'm leaving yours." He scoffed. "You trying to get me killed?! Queen will slice and dice me right now without question." "That's my room." They heard behind them and turned to look.
"You're really gonna owe me after this, Fin." He said quietly. "I'm sorry about the mix up. My friend here has to learn that Guinness and blondes don't mix." "She was a redhead." Fin added unhelpfully. Logan pointed at him. "You want me to tell Tori?" He threatened. The Aussie paled and kept looking for his new soulmate.
He turned back to the girl that he was speaking to. "Tori?" She questioned. "So that was Tori you were with yesterday." He gave a humorless laugh. "Wow, it's sad when you don't even know your own twin." "Listen, this is something you could never understand." Logan looked at this girl that had the nerve to think he didn't understand his long time girlfriend. "You don't like me." He said in realization. "You don't know me or your sister, but you don't like me."
"I know you, I met you yesterday." He nodded sarcastically. "So, one meeting for a few moments and you know us." She sighed. "Well I know you treat people like they're beneath you." He was confused now. "I think I said hello and he made a kick ass drink. How did I accomplish all that?" He asked truly curious. "It's not what you say, it's how you say it." She explained making him want to laugh. This girl was so much more sheltered than his Queen.
If she thought the way he spoke was rude she would never make a dinner party at his parents. Victoria had been taught by Emily Gilmore one of the best hostess in their circle how to handle herself. She might not have had an idealist childhood, but she was one hell of a survivor and could exchange barbs with the best of them. He wanted to go home now after talking to this girl.
"Hey, Logan! I found her!" Fin yelled from the stairs. He walked to the stairs. "I'll tell your sister you said Hi." He said flustering her further as he went to let his friends know he was leaving. A day in bed was just what he needed.
