"Cody, don't. Please don't," Chloe begs. She wraps her arms around Josh tightly and he pulls her into his chest protectively. He wouldn't protect her if he knew what was coming.
"No, Chloe. Josh needs to know," Cody hisses.
"Needs to know what?" Josh asks, confusion evident in his deep voice.
"Nothing," Chloe says quickly. Once again, the reply is too quick.
"By nothing she means that we kissed. No, not kissed, we made out. For ten minutes," Cody spits.
"Wait, what?" Josh asks, releasing his grip around Chloe's petite body. He knows what he heard because those words cannot be confused with anything else. He's just hoping that maybe he did hear wrong. Maybe Cody is pulling some cruel joke?
"You heard me," Cody states.
Josh looks down at Chloe who has tears streaming down her face, creating small stains on her black spaghetti strap tank top. She attempts to look everywhere in the room except for up at Josh. Her eyes dart from her bed, to the door of her bathroom, to the small sprinkling of cocaine she spilled on the floor before Cody came over. Josh reaches down and grabs her chin, yanking it up so that she is forced to look into his blue eyes.
"Tell me he's kidding Chlo. Please, tell me that you didn't-" Josh begs, tears forming in the corners of his bright blue eyes, before being interrupted.
"Do this?" Cody asks sarcastically. He grabs Chloe and pulls her towards him. He wraps his one arm around her and starts kissing her sloppily. She squirms under his grip, thinking that since he only has one arm to use that she'll be able to get away from him. But even his one arm is too strong and Chloe is stuck in his arms, being kissed.
