At exactly 5:03, the doorbell rang. Chloe slowly dragged herself down her staircase and opened the door to Cody wearing his hockey hoodie and jeans. He walked inside and went up the stairs into her room, with her following closely behind him. When they get into Chloe's room, he turns around, kisses her on her lips, and then pulled away before she could even react.
"Don't tell me that you didn't feel sparks Friday night," Cody sighed.
"The only reason that happened was because I was high out of my senses," Chloe hissed.
"Like you are right now! What is it this time, Chlo? Still weed or did you move up to something stronger?" he groaned.
"Yes, I'm high! It's the only way for me to make it through the times when I'm alone! That's when I start having thoughts about what they did to me! That's when everything comes back!" Chloe cried. Cody's expression softened.
"They can't hurt you anymore," he whispered.
"But I can still hurt myself," I murmured.
"You don't have to though. You have nothing to be upset about," he cooed.
"Except for the fact that I cheated on the one person who has always loved me with the person he trusted to keep me safe when he was away!" I cried.
"Did you feel the sparks that I felt?" he asked in a voice so quiet it was almost inaudible. He went closer to her, putting his forehead against hers. Chloe shook her head no and he moved away sadly.
"We can't tell Josh about any of this," she said.

"Can't tell Josh what?" a voice asks from the doorway. I turn around, startled.
Standing at the door of my room is Josh, dressed identically to Cody and holding a bouquet of flowers.
