She's dancing with strangers
The truck driver that almost hit Chloe watches in shock as he sees the sickly looking blonde teenager's body hit the black pavement below his feet. He freezes, not knowing what he should do. He has never had anything like this happen to him before. First, he almost hits a girl with his truck, then she collapses at his feet. He decides to whip out his cell phone and dial a three digit number."9-1-1 what is your emergency?" a sweet voice asks from the other end of the line.
"This girl just collapsed in the middle of the street," he explains.
"Do you know the girl?" she questions.
"No. She just ran in front of my truck and I almost hit her and when I got out to ask if she was okay, she just collapsed," he tells the operator.
"Is the girl conscious?" she asks again. The truck driver bends down and shakes Chloe's limp body, her not moving without him doing it for her.
"No," he answers simply.
"Tell me your location and I'll send an ambulance right away," the woman instructs. The truck driver gives her the name of the intersection and hangs up the phone, being able to do nothing but wait for the sirens to arrive to help poor Chloe.

Less than five minutes later, red and blue lights flash in the man's eyes and sirens blare. EMTs jump out of the back of the emergency vehicle and rush towards Chloe's body, carrying a stretcher and first aid kit with them.
"Try to find any form of identification of her," the larger of the two men tells the other while he lifts Chloe's body up and drops her gently on the stretcher. The other paramedic pats down Chloe's pockets, feeling nothing.
"She doesn't have anything on her," he says.
"She'll just have to be a Jane Doe until we can find a way to identify her," the larger medic says.
Together, the two men lift Chloe's stretcher and place it in the back of the ambulance, and drive off in the direction of the hospital.
