" Squid...?"

" SQUID-!"

" INK!"

" Huh- Wh-"

Ink jolted upright, finding himself in the DoodleSphere with Error beside him, the glitch scowling with that recognizable worry in his face. The artist sat up, rubbing his skull slightly,

Error-? What- I thought we were just-

" Oh- Error- Hey, what's wrong?"

" You passed out- that's what's wrong. What the hell have I told you about sleep? If you're gonna insist I get some, you need to do the same."

What's going on...? Didn't this-

" Right... Sorry, glitchy...."

Error sputtered,

" Haven't I told you to stop calling me that?!"

Pff- Like you'd stop calling me Squid if I asked you?

" Hah! Like you'd stop calling me Squid if I asked you!"

Error went to make a snide remark, but he frowns,

" Okay- fine- F*ck you, too."

" Hey! What have we talked about?"

Ink said, and the glitch narrowed his eyes, holding his hand up with his middle finger extended. The artist narrowed his eyes, too,

" Error. Are you kidding me."

Are you kidding me..

Error scowled and glitched as Ink suddenly fell into his hold, but he caught him nonetheless,

" What the f**k, Ink-?!"

" Oh- Sorry- Didn't expect that to happen...."

Ink mumbled, attempting to get up, but he weakly slumped into Error's arms even further.

" Just- Toss me onto the bean bag-"

" Ink-"

" Don't ask- Just do it.."

" No."

" What...?"

Ink was genuinely confused as Error adjusted his hold on the artist so he could pull him into a surprisingly gentle hug.

" Err-"

Shut up and sleep...

" Shut up and sleep..."

Error said, growing impatient as he felt the front of his body burn from the contact. Right. Phobia. He glitched a bit more and Ink carefully pushed himself off of Error, who refused and kept his hold on him.

" You're an idiot, Ink..."

He mumbled, and the artist couldn't help but slowly fall unconscious, his exhaustion having shoved at him for quite a while. The glitch held him close, mumbling a small-

Wait... Wait that's not how that ended- didn't he say something-? Why-

Wait... I can't recall what that was- Why can't I remember that!?

Not again...

A new scene appeared as the other had already faded into grey and vanished. Now, Ink and Error were located in OuterTale. Ink was sketching, of course, and Error was knitting. They were just kind of hanging out- but they looked more... peaceful.

I have to thank you, Error

" I have to thank you, Error..."

Ink spoke, setting his pencil down and looking up into the sky, then to the glitch, who suppressed the urge to sneer at the artist.
