Sparks
I sauntered among the crowd of citizens of Satan City. The crisp breeze blew ever so slightly to make my hair blow to the side and my eyes flutter from the dryness. My eyes flickered to the left and to the right. I didn't recognize many of these people, this city was all so new. But oh how beautiful it was! There were many kind people as well. Especially those men. I now carried three flowers in my hand, a daisy, a hyacinth, and a scarlet red rose that I was offered from three people. Don't think less of me, but I declined the date requests of all three. They just didn't have it. I'm not even sure what it is. I guess I'm just looking for that radiant spark, that powerful connection, that mystical alchemy.

"Hello, beautiful girl." A long, blond haired man greeted. His eyes were brown like topaz but with this sense of greed. "May I invite you to dinner this evening?" I don't know why, but he gave me bad vibes.

I shook my head with a nervous giggle. "No no. There's no need to-"

"Oh it would be my honor." I glanced down at his watch. That must be ridiculously expensive? Is such an extravagant watch so expensive? That's when I noticed it. 5:37? No! I said I'd be home by then!

"Please! I have to go now!" I broke myself from his firm grip and sprinted to the other direction, he paced right behind me while yelling "Wait! Please! I have flowers for you!"

Thump!

Ouch! I just bumped into someone. Oh no, I dropped my bag. I scrambled the ground for it. "I'm so so sorry." I stuttered. This is kind of embarrassing. Running from one boy only to bump into another.

"Its alright. No need to get worried." His voice was soft but firm, so pleasing to my ears. "Here, I see your in a rush." He handed me my bag and our hands touched for a brief moment. I pulled it away, blushing that that had just happened. "My sincerest apologies. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable." I realized I hadn't looked at the kind young man once, not even a quick glance. Shakily, I peered up to find his fresh face staring down at me.

"Oh my Kami." I muttered under my breath. He-he was breathtaking. This stranger had incredible velvety, soft, black eyes. His short, spiky hair shined a jet black color. Light peach was his complexion and he had quite a muscular build. I was speechless in front of this soft hearted beauty. He shocked me with his sudden compliments.

"Um. Y-you have very lovely brown eyes. What's your name?" I was for a moment confused. What did he just do so differently from the other men today that made me like him so much? He actually complimented apart of me. Every other man had only called me a beautiful woman. I don't even think a single one of them ask for my name. And oh how adorable was it to hear him stutter like that. Could he like me?

"Oh. Well. Um. I'm Melisa."

"Hey Melisa." He glanced down. "I see you have quite a bit of flowers there. You have a boyfriend?"

"Uh, no I don't. They're just um."

"You don't have to explain yourself to me. I'm Son Gohan. It's a pleasure to meet such a sweet and gorgeous young lady." Wordless. I was absolutely wordless! He reached for my hand and pulled me up from the ground after picking up my bag. I left the flowers. I didn't care about them anyway.

Gohan was the only thought in my mind.

"Will I see you around here anytime soon?"

"Well now you will." I nervously chuckled.

He snickered. "You're pretty funny." A boy with his similar characteristics yelled his name.

"Gohan! Come on we've got to get home or mother will flip!"

Gohan waved. "I'll be right over!" He turned to me. "I hope to see you soon. See you later, Melisa!" Gohan sprinted towards the boy. I watched as they ran off into the trees and then flew! The logic in that didn't even cross my mind. I just thought about him.

I murmured. "See you later, Gohan"

His hair. His body. His face. His eyes. His kindness. His voice greeting me. He voice wishing to see me again. I've known him for just mere minutes!

Oh my gosh. How could this be? I'm in love with Gohan.
