My arm wrapped around his and I softly giggle. "Your family is going to be so happy. Especially Chi Chi. Man of man, she'll freak!"
Gohan's hand reached up and lightly stroked my face. "Yeah, do you want to tell them now?" He murmured, lips so close to mine. I let a a slight hum and jumped up.
"Last one there is as pervy as Master Roshi!" I announced as I sprinted away. I heard him growl.
"What a tease." He rose from the ground and began to jog to me. Looks like I won't be the pervy one, I thought. I guess I spoke too soon. Seconds later I saw the guy flash in front of me. Oh wait, he's a saiyan.
"No fair!" I shouted.
"Neither is life, sweetheart!" Was his response.
We eventually made it back. Gohan looked as if that long distance run was nothing for him. I on the the other hand had my hands on my knees and was having difficulty catching my breath. "Al...right ...let's-"
"I'll do the talking alright? Don't hurt yourself." He snickered. My fist landed firmly on his arm. "Ow! For a girl who looks like she's about to die, you sure land some solid punches."
"Gohan? Melisa! You look like your about to pass out!" Chi Chi screeched after opening the door.
"No...give ...me ...a minute ...to ...breathe."
"Come on in darling, test over here. As for you Gohan, you can fly! And your strong! You should've carried the poor girl instead of tiring her."
"No really ...I'm fine." Finally, I thought, I can breath again. "Really. We've got some news for you too.
Gohan stepped in with a hopeful hint in his voice. "I think you'll be quite happy with this news. But just in case sit down."
"Is she pregnant? Of Gohan what did I-"
He fell on the ground. "MOTHER NO. NOT THAT."
My face grew beet red. Honestly, after that embarrassing conversation we had earlier, she doesn't guess marriage. Oh for Pete's sake. "Chi Chi really?" I facepalmed. "Engaged. We're engaged." I held up my hand with the beautiful ring. "It's a shock that wasn't your first guess, considering it's what you wanted to hear the most."
"Oh I knew it'd be marriage. I saw the ring. I just wanted to freak out my little baby." She patted Gohan's head lovingly as he remained on the ground, looking incredibility embarrassed.
Chi Chi's high pitched squeal caught us both by surprise. "Oh I'm so excited!" I need to get your brother and father!" And she just disappeared. Damn.
My fiancé ride from the ground, still a little shaken up, and stretched. "Well. That went worse than expected."
"Worse?" I questioned. My arms wrapped around his neck. "Why would you say that?"
"I just wish she'd calm down a bit. I swear that woman has coffee in her blood." He chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist. "I guess I should be thankful she agrees with the marriage."
I giggled. "That's true. Let's decide on a location soon. It'll help us pick or other stuff."
"I'm really excited to plan such an important day with the love of my life. I love you, Melisa." He lightly kissed forehead.
"I love you too, Gohan." And I missed his nose.
"EW COOTIES!" Goten screamed and team out of the kitchen right after running in.
And he's going to be my little brother in law.
